Job Description

As an Order Management Specialist, you are responsible for diligently implementing sales orders to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers. This involves coordinating manual and automated sales orders, maintaining comprehensive oversight across various channels, including returns, and managing the entire process efficiently. The role requires addressing deviations, providing timely updates on order status, and facilitating weekly order book review meetings to optimize alignment between factory and market groups.
Must Have:
  • Ensures comprehensive oversight of order fulfillment, including processing returns, to maintain seamless operations across various sales channels, quickly addressing any deviations or specific issues to enhance process efficiency.
  • Provides timely updates on sales order receipts and status, facilitating informed decision-making and strategic planning by monitoring sales activities and performance metrics.
  • Coordinates the administrative flow of sales orders, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and consistency from intake to recognition to maintain operational reliability.
  • Facilitates weekly order book review meetings for optimal alignment between factory and market groups, optimizing order allocation and ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Manages exceptions and engages proactively with internal stakeholders, overseeing pre-screening and special orders while resolving discrepancies and claims to maintain accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Possess a High School Diploma, Vocational Education or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent.
  • Have 2+ years of experience with Vocational Education in areas such as order processing order management, or equivalent OR no prior experience with Bachelor's Degree, preferably with understanding of supply chain or equivalent areas.
  • Knowledgeable in SAP, SFDC or an equivalent ERP systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Be a customer-focused professional with critical thinking, strong communication skills and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Excel at meeting tight deadlines, resolving escalated issues, and be forward-thinking with strong organizational abilities.
  • May be required to work overtime, based on business &/or departmental needs.
  • Able to successfully perform the minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment.
  • Reside in or within commuting distance to Nashville, TN.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is an in-office role.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Nashville, TN is an hourly rane from $ 23.65 to $ 37.85

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
