Job Description

Likewize is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to support its legal team at the global Headquarters in Southlake, TX. This role involves reviewing legal documents, supporting CLM processes, performing research, and assisting attorneys with day-to-day activities. The Paralegal will also maintain corporate governance documents and draft legal correspondence, contributing to legal and compliance initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Must Have:
  • Perform contract review and analysis
  • Utilize a variety of automated legal research tools as well as public information databases and other automated resources to research case or program specific legal matters
  • Assist in responding to outside requests for information
  • Assist attorneys as needed in their day-to-day activities, including general administrative support
  • Maintain contract and document files and assist with our internal CLM
  • Maintain corporate governance documents through our document management platform
  • Draft correspondence, contracts, and other legal documents under the direction of the attorneys
  • Field and respond to document retrieval requests and research projects for clients and various internal departments
  • General legal support to all business units in the U.S. and internationally
  • Support the legal team in developing, implementing, and managing legal and compliance initiatives, including audit and training programs and document preservation initiatives
  • Work as part of a team with individual initiative in handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Possess Texas Paralegal Certificate and Texas Registered Notary
  • Have 7+ years paralegal experience
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience drafting contracts and other relevant legal documents
  • Experience researching various legal matters and reporting findings internally
  • Highly developed skills in Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, SharePoint
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future

If you are who we are looking for, you will have the following education, skills and/or experience:

  • Texas Paralegal Certificate and Texas Registered Notary
  • 7+ years paralegal experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience drafting contracts and other relevant legal documents
  • Experience researching various legal matters and reporting findings internally
  • Highly developed skills in Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, SharePoint
  • Corporate paralegal experience preferred
  • System Administration experience preferred
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship nor or in the future.
