Two Circles is a Sports & Entertainment Marketing business focused on growing audiences and revenues for clients like the English Premier League, Red Bull, and UEFA. The Payroll Analyst is a key team member, supporting end-to-end payroll operations and owning foundational tasks. This role involves providing accurate information for payroll cycles, managing third-party payroll providers, handling queries, reconciling HR and payroll systems, overseeing audits, and supporting year-end activities. The analyst will also manage Give-As-You-Earn processes and pension reconciliations, and identify process improvements.

Provision of relevant & accurate information to support regular payroll cycles
Take responsibility for specific tasks / elements of the payrolls
Produce routine payroll updates for managers
Manage the ‘Employee of Record’ employee arrangements with third party payroll providers
Manage / clear general queries in the payroll inboxes
Managing the HiBOB (HR system) / payroll interface, including cross-reconciliations
Oversight of quarterly audits against all our third-party payroll suppliers
Supporting with audit & tax year-end activities
Manage the Give-As-You-Earn monthly process
Pension reconciliations, Accountability updates, distribution of statutory documents
Identify, agree & implement process improvement opportunities
Take over the end-to-end running of specific smaller payrolls
Partner with local HR team to facilitate the collection and processing of payroll instruction
Graduate or equivalent educational qualifications
Professional approach

The Payroll Analyst is a key member of the payroll team, providing support in the end-to-end running of payrolls and taking ownership of key foundational tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Provision of relevant & accurate information to support the regular payroll cycles
Take responsibility for specific tasks / elements of the payrolls, including:
Produce routine payroll updates for managers
Manage the ‘Employee of Record’ employee arrangements with third party payroll providers
Manage / clear general queries in the payroll inboxes
Managing the HiBOB (HR system) / payroll interface, including cross-reconciliations, assigning employee codes & cross-checking payroll to contracts, benefits management
Oversight of quarterly audits against all our third-party payroll suppliers
Supporting with audit & tax year-end activities
Manage the Give-As-You-Earn monthly process
Pension reconciliations, Accountability updates, distribution of statutory documents (e.g. P45; P60 etc)
Identify, agree & implement process improvement opportunities to improve efficiency & financial controls
Take over the end-to-end running of specific smaller payrolls, enabling colleagues to play a more oversight / review role
Partner with local HR team to facilitate the collection and processing of payroll instruction in line with company policy and local legislation

Requirements

Essential

Graduate or equivalent educational qualifications to support this ‘early-career’ role
Professional approach, self-motivated & good influencing & communication skills
Effective analytical skills & confident with MS Excel
Ability to work collegiately with payroll/HR/finance colleagues & business customers

Desirable
