Job Description

We are a leading gaming company seeking a talented 3D Generalist with 3-5 years of experience to contribute to our main product's development. Responsibilities include creating high-quality real-time 3D environments using proprietary tools and workflows for our in-house game engine. You will collaborate with Art Directors, animators, and developers, designing and implementing game features, tackling artistic, technical, and gameplay challenges. Development and refinement of 3D assets (environments, props, characters) to meet visual and performance standards is crucial. Adaptability and mastering new workflows are key.
Good To Have:
  • Rigging and scripting experience
  • Familiarity with Unity game engine
  • Asset integration experience in gaming pipelines
  • Prior gaming industry experience
  • Passion for games and understanding player expectations
Must Have:
  • Proficient in Maya, modeling, UV mapping, texturing, lighting, shading, rendering
  • Strong understanding of low-poly modeling, UV unwrapping, texture baking, optimization
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Adaptable, problem-solving skills, efficient pipeline maintenance

Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality real-time 3D environments using proprietary tools and workflows for our in-house game engine.
  • Collaborate closely with Art Directors, animators, and developers to design and implement game features, addressing artistic, technical, and gameplay challenges as a team.
  • Develop and refine 3D assets that meet visual and performance standards, including environments, props, and characters.
  • Stay adaptable and proactive, mastering new workflows, tools, and challenges as they arise

Requirements

Requirements

  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in Maya (Must) and core 3D disciplines, including modeling, UV mapping, texturing, lighting, shading, and rendering.
  • Real-Time Workflows: Strong understanding of low-poly modeling, UV unwrapping, texture baking, and optimization for low-bandwidth environments.
  • Collaboration: A team player with excellent communication skills to work effectively across disciplines with artists, developers, and producers.
  • Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Comfortable learning and mastering in-house tools, workflows, and processes, with a proactive approach to solving technical challenges and maintaining pipeline efficiency.
  • Industry Tools: Familiarity with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Zbrush, Substance Painter, and After Effects.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in rigging and scripting.
  • Familiarity with game engines such as Unity.
  • Asset integration experience in gaming pipelines.
  • Prior experience in the gaming industry.
  • Passion for games and a deep understanding of player expectations.
