Production Assistant - Suape Factory

The Production Assistant at Unilever's Suape Factory in Pernambuco, Brazil, is responsible for supporting production operations through various manual tasks. Key duties include adhering to safety, health, and environmental (SHE) protocols, maintaining a clean and organized workspace using 5S principles, and assisting operators with equipment cleaning and material handling. The role involves active participation in training, risk assessments, and contributing to the achievement of production and quality objectives, ensuring responsible use of company resources and compliance with established procedures.

Job Details

1. Follow area abandonment rules in real and/or simulated situations;

2. Use PPE according to area and task needs;

3. Report all near misses, accidents, incidents, or identified risks related to: person, environment, process, equipment, facilities, material, and product;

4. Mandatory participation in SHE, Quality, UMS, and HR training;

5. Participate in risk assessments and environmental aspect and impact surveys for your area when requested;

6. Participate in planned safety inspections when requested;

7. Follow UMS methodology in the exercise of your duties, such as: opening tags, OPL, improvement records, board updates, and MA meetings;

8. Significantly support the achievement of your area's objectives and goals;

9. Properly execute necessary actions within your professional scope regarding the use of: Point System, Access Control, PDP-f, Skill Matrix, among others;

10. Use company resources responsibly and in compliance with current legislation and according to the guidelines of all areas, particularly legal and HR;

11. Keep your work area/line properly clean and organized, respecting established 5'S standards;

12. Work in simple complexity positions throughout the factory, with predominantly manual activities, always with the guidance of Operators, as well as their training;

13. Supply production lines with raw material following area safety procedures and material handling procedures;

14. Clean and organize the production area according to established standards;

15. Assist Operators in cleaning equipment according to established cleaning checklist standards and following safety procedures established in the LOTO guide and PPE use;

16. Remove and send material to the factory's disposal area following required SHE procedures;

17. Open SHE, Quality, and UMS tags ensuring established standards;

18. Meet work demands and tasks established by the manager according to SHE, Quality, and UMS standards;

19. Perform, when requested, the following activities: boxing, palletizing, minor tube untwisting, and pallet wrapping;

20. Know and comply with the General Rules for Loss Control;

21. Perform activities aiming at environmental preservation, in accordance with company policy;

22. Know and apply SHE and Quality Policies in performing your activities;

23. Contribute to aspects related to Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety;

24. Collaborate with actions to achieve your area's objectives and goals;

25. Comply with the Production Plan;

26. Participate in risk assessments for your area, when requested.
