Pixowl is seeking a Project Manager to lead game development from concept to launch, managing creative and technical teams. This role involves facilitating communication, developing schedules, and ensuring quality across various game development areas like design, art, and programming. The ideal candidate will possess strong people management skills, work well under pressure, and have a clear understanding of game development tools and processes. A passion for games and self-motivation are essential for this role.

Must Have

  • Responsible for the development of games from concept to launch.

  • Work gracefully under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and manage changing priorities.

  • Possess excellent eye for quality and troubleshoot scheduling efforts.
  • Manage schedules and design requirements to implement desired features.
  • Exhibit exceptional spoken and written communication skills.

  • Have a passion for games and a strong sense of initiative.

  • 2-4 years experience in the game industry at producer or equivalent level
  • At least 1 shipped title

Job Description

Job Description:

The Project Manager will be responsible for the development of games from concept to launch, and will manage short to mid-size teams of highly creative and technical professionals throughout the development life-cycle. Our Leaders are responsible for facilitating communication and development efforts in the teams (both internal and external) including publishers and team members of several countries.

Experience required:

  • Excellent people management skills, including proven ability to motivate and encourage team members.
  • Ability to work gracefully under pressure, handle multiple tasks and manage changing priorities.
  • Able to develop and analyze estimates and schedules.
  • Must have clear understanding of multiple areas of game development and tools used in each, including design, art, audio, production, programming, asset management and testing.
  • Excellent eye for quality, and the ability to troubleshoot scheduling efforts, and the resourcefulness to obtain solutions.
  • Proven experience managing schedules and design requirements to implement desired features.

A Plus:

  • 2-4 year’s experience in the game industry at producer or equivalent level with at least 1 shipped title.
  • Able to analyze funnels, market trends, and player behaviors.
