Job Description

As a Sales Leader, you will manage a team of Sales Executives in the UK sales operation, driving revenue and achieving quotas. Your leadership will foster a dynamic workforce with strong energy and passion. You will develop the Go-To-Market strategy for the Commercial Business Services sector, support Account Executives in client meetings, and manage team recruitment, hiring, and training. Key responsibilities include leading forecast meetings, driving pipeline generation, mentoring Account Executives, engaging C-level customers, and accurate sales reporting. You will also supervise and enhance team sales activities, promoting an inclusive and winning team spirit.
Must Have:
  • Manage a team of highly visible and motivated Sales Executives
  • Generate revenue and achieve individual, team, and organizational quotas
  • Possess solid business-to-business (B2B) sales and prior Enterprise Sales management experience
  • Develop the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for the team
  • Support Account Executives by participating and leading in client meetings
  • Manage a high performance team, including recruiting, hiring and training
  • Lead weekly forecast meetings
  • Drive pipeline generation initiatives to improve revenue generating opportunities
  • Mentor and professionally develop Account Executives
  • Engage at the C-level in customer organisations
  • Accurate reporting on sales activity and forecasting
  • Consistently supervise and enhance the sales activities of the team
  • Consistent track record in building / managing high performance teams
  • Able to operate and navigate successfully in a matrix / multi-product sales environment
  • Experience selling transformational technology solutions to Enterprise and Commercial customers
  • Previous experience in solution sales (especially Software / SaaS / Cloud)
  • Strong demonstrated and proven sales experience, working with complex customers
  • People management experience (directly or via matrix)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to inspire and build trusted relationships (internally and externally)
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • A self-starter that can excel in a fast-paced environment

We are seeking an exceptional and ambitious Sales Leader who will play a key role in driving strategic business sales initiatives within the Commercial Business Services sector for the UK region.

Role Description:

As Sales Leader, you will play a key role managing a team of highly visible and motivated Sales Executives in our expanding UK sales operation that generates revenue and achieves individual, team and organisational quotas. Ideal candidates should possess solid business-to-business (B2B) sales and prior Enterprise Sales management experience.

Your Impact:

  • Development of a growing and diverse team who are seen as trusted advisors to our customer(s) and with internal team members
  • Develop the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for the team to increase our relevance and fuel the expansion of Salesforce across the Commercial Business Services industry
  • Supporting Account Executives by participating and leading in client meetings and engaging other corporate resources as required
  • Management of a high performance team, including recruiting, hiring and training
  • Build strong team unity, internal connections, and collaboration across the Salesforce eco-system
  • Leading weekly forecast meetings
  • Driving pipeline generation initiatives to improve revenue generating opportunities for the customer account(s)
  • Mentor and professionally develop Account Executives regarding strategies to ensure a high level of closure rates and opportunity identification
  • Engaging at the C-level in customer organisations
  • Accurate reporting on sales activity and forecasting to Area Sales Management
  • Consistently supervising and enhancing the sales activities of the team
  • To be an enabler of an inclusive and winning team spirit

Required skills:

  • Consistent track record in building / managing high performance teams
  • Able to operate and navigate successfully in a matrix / multi-product sales environment
  • Experience selling transformational technology solutions to Enterprise and Commercial customers
  • Previous experience in solution sales (especially Software / SaaS / Cloud)
  • A level of interest in, and/or experience positioning/selling to Business Services industries
  • Strong demonstrated and proven sales experience, working with complex customers
  • People management experience (directly or via matrix)
  • A passion for building a growing and diverse team
  • Proven ability to create and inspire successful teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to inspire and build trusted relationships (internally and externally)
  • Passion for supporting team development, as well as for their own self-improvement
  • Excellent negotiation skills
