Job Description

The Research Executive will collaborate with and support media and strategic planning teams on research and data needs for client accounts and business pitches. This includes tracking category and competitive media spending, consumer behavioral and media insights analysis, and social listening. The role involves identifying research objectives, constructing and maintaining dashboards, extracting and analyzing data for reports, and assisting in consumer research.
Good To Have:
  • Previous hands-on experience with Nielsen (AQX, Arianna, Clear Decision), Kantar Parallels, GFK Probe, GWI, YouGov, SimilarWeb, Pulsar, and Quid.
Must Have:
  • Collaborate with and support media and strategic planning teams on research and data needs.
  • Track category and competitive media spending and activity.
  • Analyze consumer behavioral and media insights.
  • Perform social listening.
  • Identify research objectives and available resources.
  • Construct, manage, and maintain dashboards or tracking systems.
  • Extract, analyze, and populate reports using Excel, Google Slide, or MS Powerpoint.
  • Conduct and assist consumer research (e.g., in-depth interview, focus group, online survey).
  • Administer research data & tools (system/data update, user administration).
  • Provide internal tools training.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Google Slide.
  • Good written communication and verbal presentation skills.
  • Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent attention to details and project management skills.
  • Strong time management to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Resource-savvy to identify, utilize, and maximize available tools and data sources efficiently.
  • Curious mindset with a strong interest in consumer behaviour.

Job Description

Responsibilities

To collaborate with and support the media and strategic planning teams on research and data needs for relevant client accounts, covering both daily business requirements and business pitches. This includes tracking of category and competitive media spending and activity, consumer behavioural and media insights analysis and social listening. Key responsibilities and deliverables include:

  • Identifying research objective and available resources to support campaign development process
  • Construct, manage and maintain dashboard or tracking system using available tools
  • Extract, analyze and populate reports using Excel, Google Slide or MS Powerpoint to draw meaningful insights
  • Conduct and assist consumer research and reporting on ad hoc basis (e.g. in-depth interview, focus group, online survey)
  • Administration of research data & tools e.g. system and data update, usersโ€™ administration
  • Provide toolsโ€™ training internally

Qualifications

Technical & Analytical Skills:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills for quantitative and qualitative research data
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Google Slide
  • Able to translate data into Google Slide or PowerPoint

Communication & Collaboration

  • Good written communication and verbal presentation skills
  • Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams

Project, Time and Resource Management

  • Excellent attention to details and project management skills
  • Strong time management; able to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Resource-savvy; able to identify, utilize and maximize available tools and data sources efficiently

Personal Attributes

  • Curious mindset with a strong interest in consumer behaviour
