The Revenue Cycle Supervisor will lead a team of RCM representatives, gaining a broad understanding of the prescription to cash business model. This role involves analyzing data to identify process improvements and executing workflow changes to achieve operational and financial goals. Key responsibilities include overseeing collections for Ambulatory, Monitoring & Diagnostics, resolving denials, expediting payments, identifying payor issues, and establishing policies for staff management and training.

  • Ensuring accurate and timely resolution of denials
  • Overseeing daily operations and coordinating efforts to expedite payment of accounts
  • Performing research and root cause analysis to resolve unpaid and denied claims and invoices
  • Identifying contracted payor issues and working with contracting and sales teams
  • Communicating issues that are preventing timely and accurate collections to Revenue Cycle Management leadership
  • Establishing policies and procedures to help staff manage the day-to-day collections process to meet goals
  • Analyzing quality assurance and productivity metrics with employees on a regular basis
  • 3+ years of experience in revenue cycle management
  • Strong understanding of insurance carriers and the claims/denials process
  • Leadership exposure
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Capability to motivate others, develop strong rapport and exercise diplomacy
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong problem solver, can multi-task and adapt quickly to change

Job Description

As the Revenue Cycle Supervisor, you will lead a team of RCM representatives. You will gain a broad understanding of the prescription to cash business model, and effectively analyze data to assist in identifying process improvements and execute workflow changes to significantly grow and achieve our operational and financial goals.

Your role:

  • Overseeing the collections functions for the Ambulatory, Monitoring & Diagnostics (AM&D) business, ensuring accurate and timely resolution of denials, as well as the initiation of goals and procedures.
  • Overseeing daily operations and coordinating efforts to expedite payment of accounts, while performing research and root cause analysis to resolve unpaid and denied claims and invoices.
  • Identifying contracted payor issues and working with the contracting and sales teams to resolve issues in a timely fashion.
  • Communicating issues that are preventing timely and accurate collections to Revenue Cycle Management leadership.
  • Establishing policies and procedures to help staff manage the day-to-day collections process to meet goals.
  • Analyzing quality assurance and productivity metrics with employees on a regular basis, while using a wide variety of communication formats to keep staff regularly informed and trained with one-to-one meetings

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 3+ years of experience in revenue cycle management and have a strong understanding of insurance carriers and the claims/denials process. Leadership exposure (required), management or team lead experience (highly preferred).
  • Your skills include the ability to work independently and in a team environment. You have the capability to motivate others, develop strong rapport and must be able to exercise diplomacy.
  • You have a high school diploma or GED (required), bachelor’s degree (preferred).

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is an office role.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in PA is $64,000 to $102,000.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
