Job Summary
The BFS Sales Director will develop, communicate, and implement the strategic direction of CSG’s Banking and Financial Services “go to market” activities across North America. This role leverages extensive Banking and Finance industry knowledge to generate new sales opportunities through compelling value propositions and presentations, aligning CSG with target markets. This role reports into the Vice President of NACT.
Must Have
- Develop and implement sales strategies for the Banking and Financial Services sector.
- Manage and grow key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Represent CSG at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 7+ years of proven sales success in Banking and Financial Services.
- Experience selling direct and with partner channels.
- Strong understanding of the North American BFS market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strategic thinker with ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Demonstrative success selling SaaS/software solutions into banks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong new logo acquisition and hunting skills.
Good to Have
- MBA preferred.
- Knowledge of digital transformation and fintech solutions (e.g., Zafin, SunTec, FiS, Fiserv, Oracle).

The BFS Sales Director will develop, communicate, and implement the strategic direction of CSG’s Banking and Financial Services “go to market” activities across North America. This role will leverage extensive Banking and Finance industry knowledge while challenging the assumptions of potential customers to generate new sales opportunities through the creation of unique and compelling value propositions, messaging, positioning documents, and presentations that align CSG with our target markets. This role reports into the Vice President of NACT.
We are looking for a BFS Sales Director who will:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets in the Banking and Financial Services sector, with a particular focus on the Pricing, Charging and Billing domains in corporate banking.
- Manage and grow key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
- Collaborate across CSG with cross-functional teams, including Solutioning, Business Consultants, Delivery and Operational teams and other parts of the organization including Marketing, Finance and Product Management to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Work openly with select partners where their presence in existing accounts, domain knowledge and expertise and/or complimentary resources supports our growth objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Represent CSG online, among the partner community, at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and generate leads

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of holding a proven track record of success in sales within the Banking and Financial Services sector.
- Experience in selling direct and with partner channels.
- Strong understanding of the North American BFS market and its dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Demonstrative success in selling SaaS/software solutions into banks with a delivery component (in-house or from a services partner).
- Knowledge of digital transformation and fintech solutions such as Zafin, SunTec, FiS, Fiserv and Oracle (not exhaustive) an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- New logo/ hunting skills over account management.
