Job Summary
In this Pre-Sales role, you will work with and inspire our strategic Manufacturing customers, partnering closely with Sales Executive, Customer Success, Premium Support, and Consulting organizations. Your focus will be on driving expansion and building long-term partnerships by understanding customer business challenges and translating them into technical solutions that deliver tangible results. You will build strategic technical relationships, manage technical discovery, provide guidance on requirements, and maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry trends.
Must Have
- Build and nurture strategic technical relationships that are long-term, impacting customers’ business and materialized in a shared Technical Vision
- Manage the technical discovery to help uncover business initiatives and use this information to help connect with Autodesk solutions to deliver business value
- Provide direction and guidance in creating requirements definitions, scope documents, user needs studies, process, and project assessments for sales opportunities to help make business cases and drive ROI
- Provide insight and guidance to Customers by maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of processes and technology trends within the Design & Make or AEC industry
- Develop and maintain trusted working relationships with the salesforce and adjacent business resources
- Share best practices, information, innovation, and thought leadership within the sales organization, product divisions, and technical sales organization locally and globally
- Degree, education or equivalent work experience in the Manufacturing, Construction or Automotive industry
- Fluent English
- Solution focused approach to solving customer challenges
- Experience in or interest in sales-supporting function (e.g., presales)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building
- Strong teamwork / relationship management skills
- Works independently and can manage multiple priorities
- Ability to travel up to 30% within the EMEA region and occasionally internationally

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain trusted working relationships with the salesforce and adjacent business resources (Enterprise Customer Success, global technical sales, marketing, product teams)
- Share best practices, information, innovation, and thought leadership within the sales organization, product divisions, and technical sales organization locally and globally
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree, education or equivalent work experience in the Manufacturing, Construction or Automotive industry
- Fluent English
- Ideally knowledge of the Autodesk solution portfolio (Design & Make or AECO)
