Job Summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Field Technician based in Teresina/PI, Brazil. This role is crucial for providing robust and reliable communication technology, ensuring seamless and secure connections through high-performance networks and devices. The technician will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, installations, and component replacements. Key responsibilities include monitoring, incident ticket resolution, customer support, and report generation for critical communication networks and video security systems.

Must Have

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, installations, and component replacements.
  • Monitor, diagnose, and resolve failures in video system devices (Level 1 NOC support).
  • Provide proactive support to Customer Service Management (CSM) and operations.
  • Manage support requests and incident tickets.
  • Prepare maintenance, system, and operational reports.
  • Experience in Video, Electrical, Tower, and Structured Cabling Infrastructure.
  • Experience with CCTV, Alarm Systems, Monitoring Systems, and Access Control.
  • Experience with fiber optics.
  • Experience in NOC and monitoring systems.
  • Knowledge of IP Networks, Network Design, and Troubleshooting (Ethernet, TCP/IP, L2/L3, MPLS).
  • Proficiency in Office Suite and/or Google Workspace.

Good to Have

  • Knowledge of Motorola Solutions Products (Compass, Vigilant, Avigilon, Pelco, Indigo).
  • Knowledge of Zabbix.
  • Basic understanding of Cloud (Azure certification or equivalent).
  • Basic understanding of Operating Systems Configuration (Unix, Linux, Windows Server).
  • Basic understanding of Server Installation and Maintenance.
  • Basic understanding of APCO 25 and Dimetra.
  • Basic English conversation and writing skills.
  • ITIL Certification.

Job Description

  • Maintenance and installation: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and conduct installations and replacements of components and equipment.
  • Monitoring and remote support - NOC: Perform monitoring, incident ticket handling, diagnosis, and resolution of failures in video system devices – level 1.
  • Customer Support and Operations: Understand the needs of Customer Service Management (CSM) and offer proactive support in operations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Call and Ticket Management: Be responsible for opening, processing, and controlling the flow of support requests and tickets.
  • Report Preparation: Prepare corrective and preventive maintenance reports, system reports, and operational procedures.

Basic Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Education: Technician in Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronics, or Networks.
  • CFT (Council of Federal Technicians).
  • NR10 and NR35 (Regulatory Standards).
  • Valid Driver's License: Category B.
  • Availability for Travel: 25% to 50% of the period (Teresina/PI base).
  • Experience in Video Infrastructure, Electrical, Towers, and Structured Cabling.
  • Experience with CCTV, Alarm Center, Monitoring System, and Access Control.
  • Experience with fiber optics.
  • Experience in NOC and monitoring systems.
