Job Summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of products and services within its Commercial Markets department. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery with high-quality standards. The Project Manager will track performance, communicate status, and apply Six Sigma and project management methodologies. This position requires a minimum of 7 years of project management experience, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel extensively.

Must Have

  • Manage the development and/or implementation of Motorola Solutions products or services.
  • Coordinate departmental or cross-functional teams.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, including tracking and evaluation of project performance.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and within accepted quality metrics.
  • Participate in project review and status meetings, and communicate project status.
  • Utilize six sigma and project management methodologies.
  • Motivate project team to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist in the development of business plans, strategies, and approaches.
  • Experience in relationship with several levels inside customers.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working toward objectives.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel 50 to 75% of the time.

Good to Have

  • PMP Certification

Job Description

Manages the development and/or implementation of Motorola Solutions products or services. Coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgraded existing products or services. Manages projects from inception to completion (or transition), including tracking and evaluation of project performance. Ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and within accepted quality metrics. Participates in project review and status meetings, and communicates project status. Utilizes six sigma and project management methodologies to ensure maximum project effectiveness. Motivates project team to ensure optimal performance. May assist in the development of business plans, strategies, and approaches to take advantage of business opportunities.

Basic Requirements

  • Graduated in Engineering, Administration, or areas related to Information Technology
  • Fluent English Mandatory
  • Minimum 7 years of Project Management experience. Experience in relationship with several levels inside customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel e PowerPoint) and Suite Google (Docs, Sheets, Presentation);
  • Knowledge Microsoft Project and/or Primavera is highly desirable
  • PMP Certification is highly desirable
  • Self motivated and capable of working toward objectives.
  • Love to hustle and work in a fast pace environment
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship, presentation and negotiation skills. This position will demand continuous interfacing with customer, subcontractors and internal stakeholders via in-person meetings and conference calls.
  • Willingness to travel 50 to 75% of the time
