Job Description

As a Technical Accounting Senior Manager, you will play a critical role in the Gaming controllership team and the worldwide Finance Team. This role involves ensuring compliance with US GAAP, focusing on revenue recognition and new accounting standards for business models. You will partner with business units to review contracts, document accounting treatments, and communicate with stakeholders. The role also includes staying updated on new accounting pronouncements and supporting accounting teams with technical research and analysis, working closely with business units to understand activities and address finance-related issues.

Must Have:
  • Lead technical accounting research and documentation for complex transactions including revenue recognition unusual and non-recurring transactions.
  • Partner with FP&A, Legal, and Business Units to evaluate new products, contracts, and initiatives for accounting implications and provide guidance.
  • Consider implication of new accounting pronouncements on current policy and standards and provide support on the adoption of such standards.
  • Provide training to accounting, finance, and business teams on new and existing accounting standards, as needed.
  • Support quarterly and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Work closely with the revenue and general ledger accounting teams to ensure accurate application of accounting policies.
  • CPA required.
  • B.A./B.S. in Accounting.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in technical accounting, including public accounting and industry roles.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel Skills.
  • Deep knowledge of US GAAP, particularly with revenue recognition, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance.
  • Experience in managing and analyzing large data sets.

**Your Mission**

As a Technical Accounting Senior Manager, you will play a critical role in the Gaming controllership team and the worldwide Finance Team. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Manager to support our Technical Accounting function.

Overall, the responsibility of this role is to (1) ensure that we have complied with all accounting requirements under US GAAP, with a special focus on revenue recognition, and the application of new accounting standards to support our new business models (2) partner with business units to understand new arrangements, upcoming product launches and complex transactions to perform contract reviews, document, and communicate accounting treatment

to key stakeholders (3) help establish, develop, and ensure that we have aligned with all accounting requirements under US GAAP and global accounting policies as it relates to areas of responsibility, and (4)

stay up to date on new accounting pronouncements that can impact gaming and support accounting teams with technical accounting research and analysis.

You will work closely to partner with the business units across the company to ensure a deep understanding of our business activities associated with games in development, and address accounting and finance-related issues. You will have interaction and insights into Business Unit finance teams.

What you bring to the table:

  • Lead technical accounting research and documentation for complex transactions including revenue recognition unusual and non-recurring transactions
  • Partner with FP&A, Legal, and Business Units to evaluate new products, contracts, and initiatives for accounting implications and provide guidance to ensure such transactions are forecasted properly.
  • Consider implication of new accounting pronouncements on our current policy and standards and provide support on the adoption of such standards
  • Provide training to accounting, finance, and business teams on new and existing accounting standards, as needed
  • Support quarterly and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Work closely with the revenue and general ledger accounting teams to ensure accurate application of accounting policies
  • Participate in strategic projects including system implementations, process improvements, and M&A due diligence, as relevant
