Job Description

Spellbook is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join their growing product team, aiming to make legal services accessible by eliminating drudgery for lawyers. This role involves owning product outcomes, developing quarterly roadmaps, and collaborating with engineering and design to enhance AI-powered contract review and drafting tools. The successful candidate will conduct user research, leverage customer insights, and partner with cross-functional teams to launch products effectively, focusing on increasing activation and retention for their leading AI suite.

Must Have:
  • Own product outcomes and OKRs for the core experience team - increase activation and retention
  • Develop and drive a quarterly roadmap and product strategy aligned with Spellbook’s company mission
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to deliver features that enhance AI-powered contract review and drafting tools
  • Design and prototype new features
  • Conduct user research and leverage customer insights to prioritize features and drive product decisions
  • Partner with marketing, sales, and support teams to launch products effectively and communicate value propositions
  • Establish metrics to measure product success and refine the strategy based on data and customer feedback
  • Support the product marketing function in helping customers understand our offering
  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in SaaS, AI, or legaltech
  • Proven track record of developing and executing product strategies that drive customer and business outcomes
  • Deep understanding of user-centric design principles and experience in conducting user research
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Skilled at leveraging data to inform decisions and iterate on the product roadmap
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and lead in a fast-paced, agile environment

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our growing product team and help drive our mission to make legal services accessible by eliminating drudgery for lawyers. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders to shape our roadmap and deliver solutions for our customers. Our current PM team is a small, agile team of two, and we’re looking for someone who is eager to have a significant impact on our growth trajectory.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own product outcomes and OKRs for our core experience team - increase activation and retention
  • Develop and drive a quarterly roadmap and product strategy aligned with Spellbook’s company mission
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to deliver features that enhance our AI-powered contract review and drafting tools.
  • Design and prototype new features
  • Conduct user research and leverage customer insights to prioritize features and drive product decisions.
  • Partner with marketing, sales, and support teams to launch products effectively and communicate value propositions.
  • Establish metrics to measure product success and refine the strategy based on data and customer feedback.
  • Support the product marketing function in helping customers understand our offering (assisting in writing copy and providing screenshots)
  • Support with other responsibilities and projects as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in SaaS, AI, or legaltech.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing product strategies that drive customer and business outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of user-centric design principles and experience in conducting user research.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Skilled at leveraging data to inform decisions and iterate on the product roadmap.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and lead in a fast-paced, agile environment.

NICE TO HAVES
