Job Summary

Blis is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager for its growing Netherlands team in Amsterdam. Reporting to the Head of Sales, this role involves developing new business and managing existing client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programmatic sales, an existing network within major agency groups, and the ability to leverage large global spends to drive sales. The role requires a highly focused, tenacious, and commercially astute individual with excellent networking skills and a proactive attitude.

Must Have

  • Leverage existing and new relationships to build pipeline across Blis product set.
  • Target media agencies, programmatic specialists, and independents.
  • Convert pipeline and acquire new customers to achieve aggressive targets.
  • Create and lead sales presentations.
  • Build strong relationships and manage customer accounts.
  • Ensure high accuracy across campaigns.
  • Actively contribute to team strategy and company sales meetings.
  • Strong background in digital or programmatic sales and account management.
  • Existing network/connections to WPP, OMG, Dentsu, Publicis, IPG, Havas.
  • Expert knowledge of programmatic and understanding of how programmatic is traded.
  • Ability to leverage large budgets from media/programmatic agencies.
  • Confidence to present to large and small audiences.
  • Proven ability to close deals and achieve targets.

Job Description

Our Netherlands team is growing! We are looking for an experienced candidate to take on the role of Sales Manager. You will be reporting to our Head of Sales and you will be required to develop your own business as well as looking after existing relationships.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Senior Sales person within the market; have a good contact list and hold existing relationships with one or more major agency groups. They will need to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the current programmatic market and where to leverage large global spends to drive sales.

You will be highly focused, tenacious, and practical with commercial flair and excellent social and networking skills. The successful candidate will have a 'can-do' attitude and ability to use their initiative.

Key responsibilities

  • Leverage existing and new relationships to build their own pipeline of opportunity across the Blis product set.
  • Target customers are media agencies including programmatic specialists and independents.
  • Conversion of pipeline and acquisition of new customers and accounts to achieve aggressive targets.
  • Create and lead sales presentations.
  • Strong relationship building and account management of customers.
  • Ensure a high level of accuracy across campaigns.
  • Have an active role and input in team strategy and company sales meetings.

Skills and requirements
