Senior SEM Program Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Senior SEM Program Manager to execute and optimize paid digital campaigns across SEM, paid social, and display to drive high-quality consumer acquisition and revenue growth. This role blends analytical rigor with creative testing to scale customer acquisition efficiently and sustainably in the careers industry for both B2B and B2C audiences. The SEM team fuels the growth of our career platforms, including CareerBuilder and Monster, by connecting millions of job seekers and employers through smart, data-driven campaigns. Must Have
- Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns across paid channels (Google Ads, Meta) with clear performance goals.
- Manage daily pacing, bids, audiences, and budgets; continuously A/B test creative, copy, and targeting.
- Partner with Product, Analytics, and Design teams to align paid campaigns.
- Track and report on channel performance across awareness, acquisition, and retention.
- Monitor CAC efficiency, LTV:CAC, and payback period; propose data-based adjustments.
- Identify new paid platforms, formats, or audiences to test and scale.
- Coordinate with external partners, platforms, or agencies.
- 5–8 years of experience in B2C and B2B performance marketing (subscriptions, marketplaces, or consumer tech).
- Expert knowledge of SEM and paid social platforms (Google Ads, Meta, etc.).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills (building reports, analyzing CAC and ROAS).
- Demonstrated success improving acquisition efficiency at scale.
- Experience collaborating with creative, analytics, and product teams.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, iterative environment.

What you'll do
- Campaign Ownership: Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns across paid channels such as Google Ads and Meta, with clear performance goals (CAC, ROAS, subscription growth).
- Data-Driven Optimization: Manage daily pacing, bids, audiences, and budgets; continuously A/B test creative, copy, and targeting to improve conversion rates and efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Analytics, and Design teams to align paid campaigns with landing-page experiences, messaging, and customer insights.
- Full-Funnel Analysis: Track and report on channel performance across awareness, acquisition, and retention; surface insights that inform creative and budget strategy.
- Efficiency Metrics: Monitor CAC efficiency, LTV:CAC, and payback period; propose data-based adjustments to improve ROI.
- Innovation & Experimentation: Identify new paid platforms, formats, or audiences to test and scale.
- Vendor / Platform Management: Coordinate with external partners, platforms, or agencies to ensure execution quality and cost control.
What you'll need
- 5–8 years of experience in B2C and B2B performance marketing, ideally in subscriptions, marketplaces, or consumer tech.
- Expert knowledge of SEM and paid social platforms (Google Ads, Meta, etc.) including campaign setup, optimization, and reporting.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills — comfortable building reports, analyzing CAC and ROAS, and using data to guide decisions.

Salary & Eligibility
Starting pay range
$115,000—$130,000 USD
Pay Transparency
Individual pay is based on location, transferable skills, experience, and other relevant factors. This estimated range is based on the best available market data and factors, all of which are subject to change. This position may also be eligible for a bonus and medical, dental, vision, life, short and long-term disability insurance, 401(k), paid time off, sick leave, and paid holidays, all subject to applicable plan terms.
