Job Description

The Senior Talent Acquisition Projects & Operational Excellence Specialist will join the TA team to enhance efficiency and drive projects. This role focuses on streamlining recruiting processes, optimizing TA tools, and managing initiatives to improve the overall stakeholder experience. Responsibilities include analyzing current processes, developing playbooks, tracking performance metrics, and leading projects to ensure smooth execution of hiring. The specialist will also support the adoption of new tools and benchmark best practices to boost operational effectiveness.

Must Have:
  • Analyze current TA processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
  • Support development, maintenance, and optimization of TA tools, dashboards, workflows.
  • Track key TA performance metrics and provide insights for data-driven decision making.
  • Lead design and development of TA playbooks, working instructions, reference guides, training material.
  • Manage key TA related projects and initiatives, including plans, timelines, deliverables.
  • Support adoption of new tools and processes through effective change management.
  • Benchmark external best practices and bring innovative ideas to enhance TA process effectiveness.
  • Monitor and share internal/external stakeholder feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
  • 8+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition and/or human resources.
  • Strong background managing large-scale projects, improving hiring processes, TA program management.
  • Strong proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR technologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and translate into actionable insights.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness and ability to work in-office at future corporate headquarters.
  • Ability to convene with colleagues in person and travel for company events once a month.

About the Role

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Operational Efficiency & Projects Specialist to join our growing Talent Acquisition (TA) team. This role is designed for a detail-oriented, process-driven professional who thrives on improving efficiency, driving projects forward, and supporting large-scale hiring initiatives. As an individual contributor, you will work directly with the Talent Acquisition Leadership Team to help streamline recruiting processes and practices across (TA Operations, University Relations, Talent Attraction, and functional talent acquisition), while managing TA related projects to enhance the overall stakeholder experience. This role will be based out of the future corporate headquarters, which is anticipated to be identified in 2025. This role may be remote to start but will transition to an in-office setting at the headquarters after the location is determined.

What you’ll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

  • Analyze current TA processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to increase speed, quality, and consistency of hiring and decision-making.
  • In collaboration with TA leadership, support the development, maintenance, and optimization of TA tools, dashboards, and workflows.
  • Track key TA performance metrics and provide insights to leadership for data-driven decision making.
  • Lead the design and development of TA playbooks, working instructions, reference guides and training material in support of the TALT and in collaboration with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure the smooth execution of hiring processes.
  • Manages key TA related projects and initiatives including project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
  • Support the adoption of new tools and processes through effective change management, communication and stakeholder support in partnership with the TA Leadership team.
  • Benchmark external best practices and bring innovative ideas to enhance TA process and operational effectiveness.
  • Monitor and share internal and external stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.

Location & Travel Expectations:

  • This role will be based out of the future corporate headquarters, which is anticipated to be identified in 2025. This role may be remote to start but will transition to an in-office setting at the headquarters after the location is determined. This role is not eligible for remote work in New York City.
  • The responsibilities of this role require attendance in office with in-person meetings and events regularly.
  • Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company once a month.

Pay Transparency

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.

Initial base salary range = $120,000.00 - $145,000.00
