Job Summary

At Sonat, the Ads Monetization position is responsible for operating and optimizing the advertising system in mobile games/apps to maximize revenue and player LTV, while ensuring user experience and closely coordinating with Product & UA teams.

Must Have

  • Operate and optimize advertising systems in mobile games/apps to maximize revenue and player LTV.
  • Ensure user experience and coordinate closely with Product & UA teams.
  • Set up, operate mediation systems, and configure ad networks like AdMob, AppLovin, Unity Ads, ironSource.
  • Manage and optimize ad bids by geo, user segment, and game title.
  • Monitor and analyze monetization metrics: eCPM, ARPDAU, Fill Rate, Impressions, Revenue by segment.
  • Analyze data and propose ad optimization strategies to improve revenue efficiency and product sustainability.
  • Work directly with Ad Network representatives for negotiation, issue resolution, and policy updates.
  • Coordinate with Product and UA teams to optimize player LTV, balancing growth and experience.
  • Design, implement, and monitor A/B Tests related to advertising (format, frequency, placement).
  • Optimize Lifetime Value (LTV) of players to support UA in scaling business effectively.
  • Measure the impact of advertising on LTV, retention, and player experience.
  • Ensure ad formats (Rewarded, Interstitial, Banner, Native) are implemented reasonably, without negatively affecting UX.
  • Check and evaluate the quality, content, and suitability of ads for each game title.
  • Monitor, detect, and handle policy violations of Google, AppLovin, Unity, and other ad networks.
  • Propose adjustments to ensure applications always comply with Store and Ad Network guidelines.
  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or related fields.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a similar position in mobile game or mobile app.
  • Foundational knowledge of advertising models in mobile games/apps.
  • Basic understanding of mediation, waterfall, header bidding and their operation.
  • Understand core game/app metrics: LTV, ARPU, Retention.
  • Knowledge of common ad networks in the mobile game/app industry.
  • Proficient in English (4 skills).
  • Data analysis skills, understanding and evaluating monetization metrics.
  • Ability to use data analysis tools for work.
  • Skills in working with external partners and coordinating with internal departments.
  • Skills in setting up and monitoring A/B Testing, evaluating effectiveness through data.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a team.

###### 2. JOB DESCRIPTION

Set up and operate advertising system

  • Set up and operate mediation systems and configure ad networks such as AdMob, AppLovin, Unity Ads, ironSource, etc.
  • Manage and optimize ad bids by geo, user segment, and game title.

Analyze and optimize revenue

  • Monitor and analyze monetization metrics: eCPM, ARPDAU, Fill Rate, Impressions, Revenue by segment.
  • Analyze data and propose ad optimization strategies to improve revenue efficiency and product sustainability.

Cross-departmental connection and coordination

  • Work directly with Ad Network representatives to discuss, negotiate, troubleshoot, and update new policies.
  • Coordinate closely with Product and UA teams to optimize player LTV, balancing growth and experience.

Optimize LTV through A/B Testing

  • Design, implement, and monitor A/B Tests related to advertising (format, frequency, placement…).
  • Optimize Lifetime Value (LTV) of players to support UA in scaling business effectively.
  • Measure the impact of advertising on LTV, retention, and player experience.

Control ad quality

  • Ensure ad formats (Rewarded, Interstitial, Banner, Native) are implemented reasonably, without negatively affecting UX.
  • Check and evaluate the quality, content, and suitability of ads for each game title.

Comply with policies and regulations

  • Monitor, detect, and handle policy violations of Google, AppLovin, Unity, and other ad networks (content, abnormal behavior…).
  • Propose adjustments to ensure applications always comply with Store and Ad Network guidelines, limiting operational risks.

Knowledge

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or related fields.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a similar position in mobile game or mobile app.
