Senior Technician FM UPW/WWT

As a Senior Technician FM UPW/WWT at Infineon in Dresden, you will ensure the operational readiness of infrastructure facilities, focusing on ultrapure water generation and production wastewater neutralization. Your responsibilities include operating, maintaining, and repairing ultrapure water supply and wastewater treatment plants, handling control systems, and performing qualified sampling and calibration. You should have completed training in water supply/wastewater technology or related fields, with initial experience in maintenance and proficiency in MS Office and SAP R/3. This full-time, permanent position requires working in continuous shift operations.

Must Have

• Ensure operational readiness of infrastructure facilities, especially ultrapure water generation and wastewater neutralization.
• Operate, maintain, and repair ultrapure water supply and wastewater treatment plants.
• Handle control systems and controls at the Dresden site.
• Manage special measuring equipment for ultrapure water supply and wastewater disposal.
• Perform qualified sampling for analyses and calibrate measuring devices.
• Work in continuous shift operations and normal shifts.
• Completed training as a specialist in water supply/wastewater disposal technology, chemical technician, mechatronics technician, automotive mechanic, or industrial mechanic.
• Good knowledge and skills in operating supply systems.
• Initial experience in maintenance with PPE and mask suitability G26.2.
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP R/3.
• Fluent in German communication and basic English.

• Initial professional experience in ultrapure water supply and wastewater treatment.

Your Role

Main activities

• Ensuring the operational readiness of infrastructure facilities with a focus on the generation of ultrapure water and neutralization of production wastewater
• Operation, maintenance, and repair of ultrapure water supply and wastewater treatment plants, including troubleshooting and rectification
• Applying and operating control systems and controls at the site
• Handling special measuring equipment for ultrapure water supply and wastewater disposal and ensuring their availability
• Qualified sampling for analyses and calibration of measuring devices
• Working in continuous shift operations and normal shifts

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills that will help you succeed

• A completed apprenticeship as a specialist in water supply technology or wastewater disposal technology, chemical technician, mechatronics technician, automotive mechanic or industrial mechanic
• Ideally, first professional experience in ultrapure water supply and wastewater treatment
• Good knowledge and skills in the operation of supply systems
• Initial experience in the field of maintenance with PPE and mask suitability G26.2
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP R/3
• Fluent in German communication and basic knowledge of English
