Job Summary
Illumina is seeking a highly motivated Senior ServiceNow Administrator/Developer with a strong DevOps background and a focus on AI-driven custom development. This role involves being a key member of an Agile Scrum development team, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The individual will support the organization’s growing ServiceNow platform through integrations, automation, and innovative solutions aligned with the IT Strategy for Agentic AI and Automation.
Must Have
- Develop advanced configurations of ServiceNow components (workflows, business rules, catalog items)
- Keep platform updated via regular patching, upgrades and health scan resolutions
- Extend and enhance various ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, SAM, WSD, HR)
- Integrate with other platforms and systems to maximize value and efficiency
- Design and implement AI-powered solutions using ServiceNow and 3rd party AI/ML Tools
- Perform code and configuration reviews for best practices and health scans
- Monitor and fine tune plugins for optimum performance
- Drive quality service and security by design, enforcing security and regulatory compliance
- Perform assessments to understand internal customer business needs and priorities
- Provide analysis of problems and work toward solutions for technical issues
- Proactively develop and maintain technical knowledge in specialized areas
- At least 4 years in IT Development experience
- 4 or more years working as a ServiceNow developer with extensive experience in two or more modules (ITSM, ITOM, HR, WSD)
- Proven DevOps experience (CI/CD, automation, platform integration)
- Experience in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Angular JS, Bootstrap, Jelly Script)
- Experience with AI tools (AWS Bedrock, AWS Sagemaker, Co-Pilot, ServiceNow NOW Assist, Generative AI capabilities)
- On-call flexibility (unplanned and planned maintenance/outages)
- Experience using enterprise tools (Visio or Lucid Chart, Teams, Confluence, Jira)
Good to Have
- Expertise in Web technologies (Web Services, XML, HTML, CSS, HTTP)
- Experience working in a regulated environment within a global company
- Exceptional knowledge of ITIL processes or ServiceNow Admin/CMDB Certifications

Responsibilities:
- Develop advanced configurations of ServiceNow components such as workflows, business rules, and catalog items to support business needs.
- Keep platform updated via regular patching, upgrades and health scan resolutions.
- Extend and enhance various ServiceNow modules (including ITSM, ITOM, SAM, WSD and HR), integrating with other platforms and systems to maximize value and efficiency.

Requirements:
- At least 4 years in IT Development experience with 4 or more years working as a ServiceNow developer with extensive experience with two or more ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HR, and WSD.
- Proven DevOps experience, including CI/CD, automation, and platform integration.
- Experience in ServiceNow scripting including JavaScript, Angular JS, Bootstrap and Jelly Script.
