Shift Self Sustaining Technician (Contract)

Intel is seeking a Shift Self Sustaining Technician (Contract) in Penang, Malaysia. This full-time, on-site role involves operating equipment, coordinating test plans, and identifying malfunctions. Candidates should have a Diploma in Computer Science, Business, or a related field, along with strong communication, teamwork, and computer skills. The position requires self-sufficiency and the ability to manage stakeholders in a complex environment.

Must Have

• Operate basic equipment and tools
• Coordinate execution of product development test plans, test sequences, and directed tests
• Ensure adherence to test standards and procedures
• Observe equipment during operation to identify malfunctions or operation issues
• Possess a Diploma in Computer Science, Business, or a related field
• Be self-driven and able to multi-task in a complex environment
• Demonstrate strong decision-making and judgment skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to provide comprehensive updates on work progress and compile engineering data
• Self-sufficient and able to manage stakeholders
• Ability to work well with co-workers

Good to Have

• Experience in testing and back-end equipment
• Experience in IC assembly processing
• Experience with metallurgy tools
• Experience operating tester

Job Description:

Note: This role requires regular onsite presence to fulfill essential job responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Computer Science, Business or any related field.
• Experience in testing and back-end equipment, IC assembly processing, metallurgy tools and operating tester is an added advantage.
• Skills - Self driven and ability multi-task in complexity environment, decision making and judgment
• Computer Systems - MS word, excel, PPT, Email
• Communication - Strong verbal and written communication, able to provide comprehensive update on work progress and also engineering data compilation
• Leadership and Teamwork - Self-sufficiency, able to manage the stakeholders, able to work well with co-workers.
