We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shopify Site Manager to oversee our online store specializing in retail. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of Shopify Plus, experience launching seasonal products and monthly promotions, proficiency in Google Analytics, a solid understanding of ecommerce user experience, and experience collaborating with digital marketing teams and third-party plugin integrations. This role is crucial in ensuring our e-commerce site runs smoothly and effectively to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
Shopify Site Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of our Shopify-based online store, ensuring accuracy, functionality, and usability.
- Manage product listings, category management, and content updates to keep the site current and operating smoothly.
- Implement best practices for user experience, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly online shopping journey.
- Collaborate with designers to enhance site design, navigation, and layout.
- Manage site SEO, working with search data and analytics to implement and improve site visibility.
- Conduct A/B testing and optimize marketing strategies for increased customer acquisition and retention.
- Utilize Google Analytics to track and analyze website performance, traffic, user behavior, and conversion rates.
- Manage and integrate third-party plugins and extensions.
Shopify Site Manager Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Shopify site management (certification a plus); hands-on, daily tactical experience required.
- Ability to execute file uploads and other essential ecommerce daily tasks, troubleshoot as needed (experience with Matrixify is a plus).
- Demonstrated knowledge of e-commerce best practices, UX/UI design principles, and user-centered design.
- Marketing familiarity, including SEO, email marketing, and digital advertising.
- Experience with third-party plugin integration and management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, tracking, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and pivot workload depending on business needs.
- Prior experience in the baby clothing or retail industry (preferred).
