Job Summary
Onward Search is hiring a Communications Project Coordinator for a 12-month+ contract role in Mettawa, IL. This hybrid position is with a global biopharmaceutical company. The coordinator will join the Digital Operations Team, partnering with various internal and external stakeholders to execute internal digital communications strategies, implement communications via intranet and media channels, and support clients with design and email communications.
Must Have
- Implement internal digital communications strategies via intranet and media channels
- Support clients with design and internal communications including email blasts and newsletters
- Build relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand business needs
- Provide analysis of internal creative and marketing project gaps
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications
- 3-5 years of experience in digital, design, or communications
- 2+ years managing projects with internal/external clients
- Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Basic knowledge of SharePoint O365

This is a 12-month+ contract role with a global biopharmaceutical company that researches, develops, and sells innovative medicines and therapies.
You’ll join the Digital Operations Team to partner with Project Managers, Brand Managers, Legal, Operations, Medical Affairs, and External Vendors to ensure internal digital communications strategies are successfully executed.
Responsibilities:
- Implement internal digital communications strategies via the client’s intranet and media channels, supporting Commercial Operations, Brand Teams, Product Managers, Public Affairs, and Design Agencies.
- Support clients with design and internal communications including email blasts and newsletters.
- Build relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand each team’s business needs.
- Provide analysis of internal creative and marketing project gaps to enhance business results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications.
- 3–5 years of experience in digital, design, or communications, with 2+ years managing projects with internal/external clients.
- Graphic design experience is a plus.
- Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Basic knowledge of SharePoint O365.

*Eligibility requires working over 30 hours per week on an an assignment lasting at least 10 weeks.
