We’re hiring a Senior Strategy Manager for a hybrid role in Burbank, California. Join our client’s dynamic Marketing Strategy & Operations team, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of entertainment marketing. This position is perfect for a strategic thinker with a background in marketing or media strategy, particularly within the entertainment or streaming sectors. Candidates with agency experience are also encouraged to apply. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. Onward Search provides benefits for a 40-hour work week and weekly paychecks (W2) for the duration of the contract.

Senior Strategy Manager Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with marketing leadership to develop and refine the strategic framework for the upcoming fiscal year, ensuring alignment with broader direct-to-consumer (DTC) initiatives.
- Enhance marketing prioritization processes to streamline campaign efforts and focus on high-impact projects.
- Strengthen cross-platform measurement by standardizing methodologies and establishing clear benchmarks for performance transparency.
- Maintain and improve planning tools such as Airtable and Marketing Mix Modeling tools to support scenario modeling and investment decisions.
- Work closely with channel owners to extract performance insights, identify optimization opportunities, and guide strategic adjustments.
- Conduct regular reporting audits to ensure consistency and clarity in performance measurement and storytelling.
- Prepare monthly executive summaries highlighting key business objectives and performance insights across platforms.
Senior Strategy Manager Qualifications:
- Over 7 years of experience in marketing strategy, media strategy, operations, or consulting.
- In-house agency experience (preferred).
- Experience in the streaming or entertainment industry, particularly within complex, matrixed organizations.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional projects and strategic planning.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in database tools like Airtable and experience with Tableau, Looker, and Google Workspace.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to build and scale marketing operations or strategy functions.
- Skilled in executive reporting and crafting strategic narratives for leadership.
