The Specialist Cloud Operations Engineer works with NICE Customers and internal stakeholders, demonstrating leadership in proactive alert case management. This role demands efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism in execution, documentation, and communication. Responsibilities include liaising with management for process feedback, working under pressure to meet deadlines, ensuring high accountability, and providing rapid support in production environments. The role involves end-to-end operational duties, issue resolution, performance monitoring, and maintaining documentation.

  • Identify and resolve operational issues (e.g., batch failures, network issues, client data feed errors).
  • Monitor infra and Application performance, CPU, file systems, databases, batch jobs.
  • Maintain COMPLETE operational documentation, e.g., incident tracking and run books.
  • Produce metric reports including daily productivity status.
  • Review Client service request tickets under service SLAs.
  • Provide on-call off hour support and work during non-prime shift hours.
  • 6+ years’ experience in Application / production support with Cloud-Based hosting administration, management and performance tuning under high availability SLA environment.
  • Must be able to provide on-call off-hour support and work during non-prime shift hours.

Specialist Cloud Operations Engineer work with NICE Customers and Internal various stake holders and responsibilities are to show leadership in proactive alert case management. The Ops Engineer should be an efficient in terms of accuracy in execution, documentation, timeliness, communication, consistencies and professionalism. The Ops Engineer will be responsible to liaison with the management for following and sharing feedback on existing and new process, methodologies, best practices, and changes.

Work Shift- 24*7 Rotational Shift, include night shift +weekend on call (Rotational)

Have you got what it takes?

  • 6+ years’ experience in Application / production support experience in with Cloud-Based hosting administration, management and performance tuning under high availability SLA environment.
  • Excellent Proficiency with Unix, Linux, Windows, Tomcat, SSH
  • NICE product knowledge & experience (from implementation or support) will be key.
  • Experience with PowerShell and scripting skills.
  • Experience with SQL Server, Oracle and MySQL.
  • Experience with application debugging, performance, scalability
  • Familiarity with standard application security compliance best practices
  • Knowledge of fault detection and resolution processes
  • Must be able to provide on-call off-hour support and work during non-prime shift hours.
  • Experience with AWS is a good to have.
  • Knowledge of ETL is a plus.
