Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Director, People Protection to lead a rapidly expanding sales team. This role involves identifying, developing, and retaining top talent to drive consistent revenue growth for People Protection product lines. The successful candidate will play a hands-on role with the field sales organization, participating directly in closing deals, setting sales metrics, and collaborating with Product Management, Product Marketing, and Field Marketing teams on product requirements and go-to-market strategies. This leadership position requires a focus on strategic planning, customer relationship management, and expanding the customer base through creative initiatives.

Must Have

  • Create and execute both strategic and tactical plans to significantly increase our revenue with the People Protection product lines
  • Lead a team of dedicated sales specialists
  • Establish and maintain key customer & internal field sales leadership relationships
  • Develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base via creative initiatives and working closely with international regions to share best practices
  • Execute on a go-to-market plan to drive incremental pipeline and revenue through enablement of the field sales organization and BDR teams
  • Partner with Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Marketing, and Support to close deals, drive pipeline and revenue
  • Maintain an accurate forecast of the business, including current team notes on their engagement and support of the MEDDICC process as a specialist team

The Role

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join and lead our rapidly expanding team. In this role you will lead a sales team in identifying, developing, and retaining top talent to deliver consistent revenue growth as a specialist sales team supporting field sales. You will play a hands-on role with the field sales organization in this customer facing and highly visible position, including direct participation in closing deals at key accounts and setting/reviewing key sales metrics and programs.

In addition, you will work with the Product Management, Product Marketing and Field Marketing teams supporting the People Protection business unit, on product requirements, go to market activities, planning for future business expansion and creation of targeted sales campaigns and their measurements. This role can be located anywhere in the Western, Southern or Central US.

Your day-to-day

  • Create and execute both strategic and tactical plans to significantly increase our revenue with the People Protection product lines
  • Lead a team of dedicated sales specialists
  • Establish and maintain key customer & internal field sales leadership relationships
  • Develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base via creative initiatives and working closely with international regions to share best practices

What you bring to the team

  • Demonstrable experience successfully leading high performing field sales teams spread over a large multi-country geography
  • Prior experience managing a sales team in a matrix environment
  • Strong knowledge of new and current technologies and trends specifically in email security
  • Strong industry contacts in the prospective customer and influencer communities
  • Outstanding consultative selling skills and ability to clearly and effectively articulate the company’s value proposition
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to create a business plan, build a strong pipeline, accurately forecast, a passion for enabling field sellers and SE’s as a Specialist leader and close business
  • Experience building demand generation plans with marketing
  • Confidence to work closely with field AVP’s on annual and quarterly goals (pipeline, ARR and engagement) for the Identity Defense Business Unit’s success
  • An understanding of the importance of the Specialist/overlay role in delivering highly targeted training/field enablement sessions, technical deliverables to sell the value of the solution and ability to communicate with field sales leadership on the importance of your model for success
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to conduct sales presentations and interact effectively with internal and external customers at all levels, including willing ness to demonstrate the product and its features
