Job Summary

Smarsh is seeking a Sr. Salesforce Administrator to join their team, focusing on Agentforce/AI solutions. This role involves partnering with business leaders to identify high-ROI AI use cases, building and enabling Agentforce capabilities, and managing core Salesforce administration and release duties, including configuration, security, data quality, and troubleshooting. The administrator will play a crucial role in empowering customers to manage risk and unleash intelligence in their digital communications within regulated industries.

Must Have

  • Own Salesforce administration with a focus on Agentforce/AI solutions
  • Partner with business leaders to identify high-ROI AI use cases
  • Build/enable Agentforce capabilities
  • Handle core admin/release duties (config, security, data quality, troubleshooting)
  • Translate business pain points into AI/Agentforce use cases; define success metrics/ROI
  • Configure and manage Agentforce (skills, prompts, guardrails, data sources/grounding, evaluation)
  • Build flows/automation, next-best-actions, and knowledge integrations
  • Establish AI governance (privacy, safety, compliance), quality monitoring, and continuous improvement loops
  • Coordinate with technical and business architect roles to adjust user/role/profile/permission set architecture, SSO, and field-level security
  • Configure objects, flows, validation rules, page layouts, record types, dynamic forms, and Lightning apps
  • Sandbox strategy, change management, and release orchestration
  • Data stewardship: dedupe, Data Loader, backup/restore, and data quality dashboards
  • Incident response; root-cause analysis and preventive fixes; clear documentation/runbooks
  • Work with Global Support group and AI initiatives, Sales, Success, RevOps/Finance, and other groups to prioritize a value-based backlog
  • Build lightweight BRDs/solution designs; run enablement and office hours; track adoption and ROI
  • 7–10 years hands-on Salesforce administration in complex, multi-org or multi-cloud environments
  • Demonstrated AI/Agentforce exposure (pilot or production)
  • 3+ Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder)
  • Strong Flow expertise
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and documentation skills in English
  • College degree

  • Exposure to CPQ/Revenue Cloud concepts (bundles, pricing, approvals) and downstream impacts to billing/rev-rec
  • Experience with other CRM/ERP (NetSuite, MS Dynamics, Oracle, SAP) and integration patterns (MuleSoft, Boomi, APIs)
  • BI/reporting familiarity (Salesforce reports/dashboards; understanding of how data feeds finance/ERP)
  • Security & compliance awareness (PII, SOC2, GDPR), and AI guardrail best practices

Summary

Smarsh is seeking a Sr. Salesforce Administrator to join our team. Own Salesforce administration with a focus on Agentforce/AI solutions. Partner with business leaders to identify high-ROI AI use cases, build/enable Agentforce capabilities, and handle core admin/release duties (config, security, data quality, troubleshooting).

How will you contribute?

  • Agentforce & AI delivery
  • Translate business pain points into AI/Agentforce use cases; define success metrics/ROI.
  • Configure and manage Agentforce (skills, prompts, guardrails, data sources/grounding, evaluation).
  • Build flows/automation, next-best-actions, and knowledge integrations that improve the customer experience on our support portal or seller/CSM productivity.
  • Establish AI governance (privacy, safety, compliance), quality monitoring, and continuous improvement loops.
  • Core Salesforce administration
  • Coordinate with the technical and business architect roles to adjust user/role/profile/permission set architecture, SSO, and field-level security.
  • Configure objects, flows, validation rules, page layouts, record types, dynamic forms, and Lightning apps.
  • Sandbox strategy, change management, and release orchestration (e.g., Gearset/Copado).
  • Data stewardship: dedupe, Data Loader, backup/restore, and data quality dashboards.

  • Work with our Global Support group and AI initiatives, Sales, Success, RevOps/Finance, and other groups to prioritize a value-based backlog.

  • Revenue Cloud / CPQ (a big plus)
  • Support quoting/bundle structure discussions, approvals, and order flows (if experienced).
  • Understand downstream impacts to billing, revenue recognition, and ERP handoffs.

What will you bring?

  • 7–10 years hands-on Salesforce administration in complex, multi-org or multi-cloud environments.
  • Demonstrated AI/Agentforce exposure (pilot or production) — e.g., prompt/skill design, grounding data, evaluation & safety patterns.
  • 3+ Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder).
  • Bonus: AI Associate/AI Specialist, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud; CPQ/Revenue Cloud certs are a plus.
  • Strong Flow expertise
