Announcement
The Knights of U studio (run by The Knights of Unity sp. z o.o.) is looking for a Teaching Methodologist who is ready to join our knightly team in connection with the ongoing project no. FERS.01.04-IP.05-0017/25 titled "Interactive educational games supporting students' interdisciplinary competences" (hereinafter referred to as "the Project"), under the European Funds for Social Development 2021-2027 program co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus. 🏰⚔️
Scope of involvement:
1. From the moment of candidate selection and contract signing, for the duration of the Project, i.e., until September 30, 2028 (the Project has already started), for a total maximum of 480 clock hours, subject to point 2.
2. The total scope of involvement indicated in point 1 results from the Project funding application valid on the date of publication of this Announcement. We reserve that the Project implementation period began on October 1, 2025, and the actual hourly involvement may be less than assumed in the funding application and will be adjusted to the Project Work Schedule.
3. The estimated average monthly involvement is approximately 14 hours (480 hours/36 months). The actual involvement in individual months of Project implementation may vary and will depend on the Project Work Schedule and actual needs.
4. Services will be carried out in all 5 stages (tasks) of the Project, in accordance with the Project Schedule, i.e.:
- Task 1 – Development of Game Design Document (Q4 2025 – Q1 2026),
- Task 2 – Game production schedule (Q1 - Q3 2026),
- Task 3 – Vertical Slice Production (Q3 2026 – Q2 2027),
- Task 4 – Production and testing of Beta game versions (Q2 2027 – Q1 2028),
- Task 5 – Finalization of production and implementation of educational games (Q1 – Q3 2028).
We reserve the right to extend/shorten the above-mentioned period of service provision by deadlines resulting from the Project funding agreement in consultation with the Intermediate Body (Ministry of National Education).
Responsibilities:
- Methodological supervision, verification of didactic content and compliance with the curriculum
- Cooperation in preparing game project documentation (Game Design Document) in cooperation with Game Designers.
- Cooperation with the rest of the team (game designer, programmers, graphic designers, WCAG specialist, etc.) to ensure consistent implementation of Project assumptions and compliance of games with the core curriculum.
- Cooperation with the WCAG Specialist; consideration of accessibility standards (WCAG) when designing gameplay, so that games are adapted to the needs of students with disabilities.
When performing the above-mentioned duties, the Contractor is obliged to take into account the requirements specified in the attachments to the Recruitment Regulations no. FERS.01.04-IP.05-005/25 “Development of educational games for general education” available at the following address: https://efs.men.gov.pl/nabory/konkurs-opracowanie-gier-edukacyjnych-do-ksztalcenia-ogolnego-nr-fers-01-04-ip-05-005-25/ in particular in:
- “Educational Game Scenarios - Area 2” (attachment no. 14b to the Recruitment Regulations);
- “General functional and technical requirements for educational games” (attachment no. 11 to the Recruitment Regulations);
- “Technical documentation of interactive components” (attachment no. 12 to the Recruitment Regulations.
According to “Educational Game Scenarios - Area 2” (attachment no. 14b to the Recruitment Regulations) - games will be intended for the following educational stages:
- Stage II: primary school (grades IV-VIII)
- Stage III: general secondary school / technical school (basic and extended scope)
The learning areas for which the game will be intended include: humanities (social studies, history, Polish language), mathematics and computer science (business and management), natural sciences (biology, geography), and modern foreign languages (English language).

Requirements:
1. Professional qualifications consistent with the position held or work performed for education, including pedagogical preparation;
2. 5 years of documented experience in didactic work in the education system as a teacher/academic teacher, educator or methodological advisor in the field of educational games being created or in professional development of teachers in the aforementioned field;
3. Documented experience in didactic work including innovative/novel methodological, organizational, programmatic solutions;
4. Documented experience in developing and creating multimedia and interactive educational materials;
5. Documented experience in using electronic tools in didactic work;
6. Knowledge of educational law regulations.
The requirements were determined based on the applicable minimum requirements for a person involved in the position of Teaching Methodologist in accordance with the competition documentation.

Our headquarters: Pl. Strzelecki 25, 50-224 Wrocław.
Remote work is allowed. However, we reserve the right that if project arrangements need to be made in a stationary form (no more than once a month), services will be provided at our headquarters.
