Job Summary
The Technical Planner will assist in developing and optimizing planning and art tools to enhance team efficiency for an in-development military SLG game. This role involves gathering and analyzing tool requirements, translating non-technical pain points into technical solutions, streamlining workflows, and driving continuous improvement. The planner will also create documentation, maintain technical libraries, and act as a communication bridge between technical and business departments, providing training and support.
Must Have
- Assist in developing/optimizing planning and art tools (e.g., large map editor, resource management system).
- Participate in tool requirements collection and analysis, transforming non-technical pain points into implementable technical solutions.
- Streamline existing workflows, identify efficiency bottlenecks, and propose standardized improvement suggestions.
- Follow up on tool and process implementation, collect feedback, and drive iterative optimization.
- Write tool user manuals and process documentation to ensure non-technical colleagues can quickly get started.
- Maintain a technical documentation library, establish a tool usage case library and common problem solution library.
- Serve as a communication hub between technical and business departments, accurately conveying technical limitations and business needs.
- Assist in organizing tool training and patiently answer technical questions from planning/art colleagues.
- Bachelor's degree or above, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Digital Media, or related majors.
- Master at least one programming language.
- Possess basic UI/UX awareness, understanding "user-friendly" tool design principles.
Good to Have
- Experience in tool development.
- Proficiency in Python/C#.

Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Digital Media, or related majors.
2. Master at least one programming language (Python/C# preferred), experience in tool development is a plus.
3. Possess basic UI/UX awareness, understanding "user-friendly" tool design principles.
