Job Description

Join NiCE Public Safety as a SaaS Technical Trainer to deliver specialized training for digital evidence management platforms like NiCE Investigate and NiCE Justice. You will facilitate in-person and virtual sessions for public safety professionals, design role-specific learning modules, and stay updated on platform features. Responsibilities include developing training plans, creating and updating materials, and collaborating with internal teams to support technical enablement and certification initiatives. You will also manage training logistics and report on outcomes, empowering agencies and partners for rapid solution adoption.

Must Have:
  • Facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions for public safety professionals.
  • Design and update role-specific learning modules and hands-on labs.
  • Stay informed on platform updates and incorporate new features into training materials.
  • Adapt training content and delivery methods to meet unique client needs.
  • Use real-world case studies to demonstrate best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Solution Architecture, Customer Success, Technical Support, TAMs).
  • Utilize learning management systems (LMS) to monitor learner progress.
  • Conduct surveys and interviews with customers to identify training requirements.
  • Contribute to the design and development of training resources and materials.
  • Develop comprehensive training strategies, initiatives, and supporting materials.
  • Review, test, and provide feedback on training content.
  • Generate accurate and timely reports on training activities and outcomes.
  • Document customer performance and training results.
  • Manage logistics including enrollment, scheduling, budgeting, and equipment coordination.
  • Travel as required to support training delivery and customer engagement (up to 50%).
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Trainer in SaaS training, ideally within public safety or justice domains.
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Experience using authoring tools (Articulate, Camtasia), Learning Management Systems (e.g., Docebo, SAP Litmos), and virtual training platforms.

So what is the role about the Role?

Join NiCE Public Safety as a SaaS Technical Trainer focused on delivering specialized training for digital evidence management platforms (e.g., NiCE Investigate, NiCE Justice). You’ll empower agencies and partners through engaging classroom and virtual training programs that enable rapid solution adoption. You’ll be responsible for delivering training, developing training plans, and partnering with Internal resources to create and update training materials. You should be a confident public speaker who is self-driven to stay up to date on the latest tools and best practices for product training.

How you will make an impact?

  • Facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions for public safety professionals, including law enforcement officers, legal teams, and investigative units.
  • Design and update role-specific learning modules and hands-on labs tailored to justice and law enforcement workflows.
  • Stay informed on platform updates (e.g., investigative tools, QA automation) and incorporate new features into training materials.
  • Adapt training content and delivery methods to meet the unique needs of law enforcement and judicial clients.
  • Use real-world case studies to demonstrate best practices and practical applications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Solution Architecture, Customer Success, Technical Support, TAMs) to support technical enablement and certification initiatives.
  • Utilize learning management systems (LMS) or portals to monitor learner progress, assessments, and certification results.
  • Conduct surveys and interviews with customers to identify and evaluate training requirements.
  • Contribute to the design and development of training resources and materials.
  • Share relevant training needs and digital learning resources as appropriate.
  • Develop comprehensive training strategies, initiatives, and supporting materials.
  • Review, test, and provide feedback on training content to ensure quality and effectiveness.
  • Generate accurate and timely reports on training activities and outcomes.
  • Document customer performance and training results for internal tracking and improvement.
  • Manage logistics including enrollment, scheduling, budgeting, and equipment coordination.
  • Travel as required to support training delivery and customer engagement.

Have you got what it takes?

  • Exceptional facilitation skills—able to distill complex technical information for non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Must have 5+ years of experience as a Technical Trainer in SaaS training, ideally within public safety or justice domains
  • Demonstrated knowledge (or ability to learn) of digital evidence workflows or compliance frameworks.
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Experience using authoring tools (Articulate, Camtasia), Learning Management Systems (e.g., Docebo, SAP Litmos), and virtual training platforms.
  • An empathetic and supportive communicator who builds confidence in learners.
  • Detail-oriented in curriculum design and documentation.
  • Adaptable to fast-evolving software products and public safety standards.
  • Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and support teams.
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
  • Willingness to perform in person training as needed (travel up to 50%).

You will have an advantage if you also have:

  • Experience/knowledge of CCaaS, CX, and Conversational AI solutions.
  • Experience/knowledge in the public safety sector.
