What the Role Entails
Position Overview
With our strong business growth globally, Tencent Cloud International is now looking for a Business Development Manager (Direct Sales) to join our fast growing cloud business in Japan. He/she will grow and accelerate our Go-To-Market strategy within the targeted markets and sectors while developing field relationships with our key partners to ultimately generate new services opportunities and help accelerate or grow existing opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets.
- Responsible for expanding company presence and establishing collaboration ecology for Tencent Cloud in Japanese market.
- Establish, maintain and strengthen long-term excellent relationships with target customers.
- Develop effective marketing strategy and plans to improve customer acquisition and sales performance.
Who We Look For
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in relevant disciplines.
- Familiar with Japanese public cloud market and having worked on large scale projects prior.
- Solid understanding of local customers' business needs, especially those from gaming, e-commerce, O2O, video and enterprise service industries; capable of communicating with customers in CIOs, CTOs and CEOs level.
- Excellent communications skills in Japanese and Chinese Mandarin.
- Exhibit strong hunter spirit with the eagerness for achieving success in sales.
Compensation
Annual salary: negotiable (with raises/bonuses)
- We will give preferential treatment according to our company regulations, taking into account experience and skills.
- For general employees, 35 hours of fixed overtime pay per month is included.
- For managerial positions, 10 hours of fixed overtime pay is included.
Working Hours and Holidays
- Working hours: 09:30 ~ 18:30, break time 60 minutes
- Flexible time available
- Complete two-day weekend system (Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays)
- Paid leave: For the first year of employment, granted proportionally to the month of joining. Up to 22 days based on years of service.
- New Year holidays (December 30th to January 3rd)
- Sick leave (paid): 12 days/year (granted separately from paid leave)
