Tool & Die Maker II, 1st Shift – Moorpark, CA

We have an opportunity for a Tool & Die Maker II to join our Moorpark, CA team.  You will provide support in the Preventative Maintenance of Injection Molds. You will also manufacture or modify components for Injection Molds.

You will:

• Work on providing Preventative Maintenance on existing molds per set schedule.
• Manufacture components as required.
• Conduct mold changeovers as required.
• Manufacture Test Fixtures or components as required.
• Perform 5S duties as required.
• Work under moderate supervision.
• Assist the production team in a variety of tasks and roles as needed.

Key Qualifications:

• Ability to operate Lathes, Conventional Mill, Surface Grinders and hand tools to produce mold components.
• Experience working with injection molding CNC.
• Experience with injection molding repair.
• Knowledge and use of measuring equipment to validate mold components.
• Able to work from Prints, Sketches, and Verbal direction.
• Ability to calculate dimensions to set up the machine tools.
• Knowledge of injection molding CNC set up, design of injection molding components, and use of MasterCam or Cimatron.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience with Injection Molding Tool & Die Making.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist at the waist. 
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist consistently throughout shift.
• Steel-toed footwear is required.

Compensation:

The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is $28.00 - $43.00/hour, DOE. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers several factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be determined by considering level of experience, skills, knowledge, training, pertinent education, including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

Shift:

• 1st Shift, start time between 8am – 10am (shift may stagger based on production needs) 
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
