Job Description:

The Total Rewards Director is responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of the organization's compensation and benefits programs. Ensuring that the total rewards strategy aligns with the company's goals and supports the attraction and retention of top talent. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of compensation, benefits, and rewards strategies, as well as the ability to create and manage comprehensive programs that enhance employee satisfaction and engagement.

Responsibilities:

Total Rewards Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive total rewards strategy that aligns with the organization's business objectives and supports talent acquisition and retention.

Compensation Management:

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and management of the organization's compensation programs, including salary structures, bonuses, and incentives.
  • Conduct regular market analyses to ensure competitive compensation practices.

Benefits Administration:

  • Lead the planning, design, and administration of employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and other fringe benefits.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure cost-effective and attractive benefit offerings.

Executive Compensation:

  • Manage and design executive compensation programs, including stock options, bonuses, and other executive benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for executive compensation.
  • Employee Recognition Programs:
  • Develop and oversee employee recognition and reward programs to enhance employee engagement and morale.

Performance Management:

  • Collaborate with HR and leadership to align total rewards programs with performance management strategies.
  • Support the development and implementation of performance-based rewards.
  • Communication and Education:
  • Develop and execute communication strategies to educate employees on total rewards programs and offerings.
  • Conduct workshops or training sessions to ensure employees understand the value of their total rewards package.

Legal Compliance:

  • Stay informed about changes in labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to compensation and benefits.
  • Ensure the organization's total rewards programs remain compliant with legal standards.

Data Analysis:

  • Utilize data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of total rewards programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Monitor key metrics and benchmark against industry standards.

Budget Management:

  • Manage the budget for total rewards programs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with organizational priorities.

Vendor Management:

  • Collaborate with external vendors, consultants, and brokers to optimize services and resources related to total rewards programs.

Work Experience:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in total rewards, compensation, and benefits management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

We take into account an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for health insurance, life insurance, retirement benefits, participation in the company’s equity program, paid time off, including vacation and sick leave. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location. The expected salary range for this position is:

$160-185k
