This Trainee position is part of our Emerging Talent Programs, offering students and recent graduates unique opportunities to work on movies, TV shows, and other experiences. It's a seasonal, paid, full-time assignment from January to June 2026, providing meaningful work, skill development, challenging tasks, and real-world experience. This role supports the Diversity & Inclusion team, focusing on workforce analytics, inclusive environment workshops, and increasing representation in media, aiming to jump-start your career in the desired field.

Must Have:
  • Provide support to DEI Senior Manager for Studio Initiatives
  • Manage multiple tactical cross-department efforts and D&I activations
  • Support Director with SPT DEI Directors and Writers Program
  • Support Director with MPG Short Film Initiative
  • Support DEI team with partnership efforts
  • Attend relevant meetings to contribute, capture actions, and ensure follow-through
  • Draft internal DEI communications and update key partners
  • Develop presentations and mechanisms to track progress
  • Track relevant DEI data as required
  • Provide administrative support to the DEI director
  • Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Highly organized with project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Team player who values collaboration and works independently

Our Emerging Talent Programs, which includes Interns and Trainees offer unique opportunities for students, recent graduates, and emerging talent to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. These seasonal, paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that allows you to build on your experience and develop your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks, real-world experience, and many educational and social networking opportunities.

This Spring 2026 Trainee position is from the January 12, 19 or 26, 2026 to June 26th, 2026 (start and end dates are flexible based on your schedule) and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in the specified location. This type of opportunity will jump-start your career and prepare you for a career in the desired field. This is not a remote role. A hybrid work option may or may not be available.

We approach D&I holistically by focusing efforts on our workforce, workplace, and our marketplace. Meaning that any given day we could be looking into workforce analytics, rolling out workshops aimed at building a more inclusive environment and meeting with organizations about increasing representation in front of and behind the camera. This Trainee will support the Diversity & Inclusion team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to DEI Senior Manager who supports Studio Initiatives

  • Support DEI team with partnership efforts
  • Attend relevant meetings to contribute and capture actions and ensure appropriate follow-through
  • Draft internal DEI communications and regularly update key partners and stakeholders
  • Develop presentations and mechanisms to track progress
  • In partnership with workforce insights, track relevant DEI data as required
  • Includes providing administrative support to the DEI director

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. In lieu of a degree, 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Highly organized with project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Team player, who values collaboration and works independently with an interest in D&I
  • Able to build strong relationships with partners and across studio

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Able to interact across broad diversity of client groups
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment

The anticipated base salary for this position is $22/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
