Job Description

The Director of Monetization, VIP & CS at Playtika is responsible for developing and executing strategies to maximize revenue generation for their game titles. This role requires a deep understanding of player behavior, market trends, and the ability to design and implement monetization features that enhance player experience while driving financial performance. Responsibilities include strategy development for monetization, VIP, and customer service; revenue optimization through in-game purchases, pricing, and promotional events; collaborating with product, marketing, and analytics teams; data-driven decision-making using KPIs; and reporting performance to senior management. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in monetization within the gaming industry, strong analytical skills, and proven leadership abilities.

Responsibilities:

The Director of Monetization will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that maximize revenue generation for our game titles. This role requires a deep understanding of player behavior, market trends, and the ability to design and implement monetization features that enhance the player experience while driving financial performance. you will be leading diverse teams of professionals in Monetization and Creative domain.

  1. Strategy Development:
    • Develop and lead the monetization, VIP, and CS strategy of the game
    • Identify new monetization opportunities and optimize existing revenue streams.
  2. Revenue Optimization:
    • Design and implement in-game purchases, pricing models, and promotional events.
    • Optimize the balance between free and paid content to maximize player retention and revenue.
  3. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with product, marketing, and analytics teams to align monetization strategies with game design and user acquisition goals.
    • Partner with the development team to ensure seamless integration of monetization features.
  4. Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • Use analytics and KPIs to measure the performance of monetization, VIP, and CS initiatives.
    • Continuously test and improve department strategies based on data insights.
    • Report on monetization , VIP, and CS performance to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

    • Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in monetization, preferably within the gaming industry.
    • Proven management experience and skills
    • A charismatic person with the ability to lead, manage and motivate people.
    • Strong analytical competencies (Excel) with a focus on consumer behavior in digital entertainment/games.
    • Good understanding of company's vision and strong business orientation.
    • Self-motivated go-getter who is driven to achieve results creatively.
    • Ability to work well in a team environment.
    • Logical problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to plan, organize and complete multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • English written/verbal communication skills.
    • Experience in the gaming world - Big Advantage.
