The Junior Technical Artist is a support role inside the Technical Art team, working closely with the Technical Artists and the development team, to help with simple asset and pipeline optimizations, to participate in the technical art features implementation, and to perform simple debugging on the project’s tools and processes. You will participate in all the stages of the game development with artists and developers to help create, maintain, and expand the game’s graphic pipeline, implementing and animating UI in Unity’s UI editor with a focus on responsive design for Mobile and Tablet devices.
You will have an opportunity to develop and share your skills, learn from a diverse team, and collaborate with artists to deliver work that pushes the boundaries of what players think is possible.
Skills and Requirements
Knowledge of fundamental game development principles.
Good use of Unity IDE and Unity art resources (animation, particles... )
Awareness of technical implications based on a specific art design.
2D art skills, graphic design and photoshop knowledge.
Good use of git and git flow.
Experience optimizing UI assets for games
Experience on the app optimization process for mobile games
Positive, solution-oriented individual with a passion for game development.
Willing for improvement of processes and tools.
Nice to have
Programing fundamentals on C# , OOP and software development principles.
Awareness of Unity graphic pipeline and graphic performance fundamentals.
Knowledge of shaders
