Xepelin was born in Chile in 2019 and, since then, we have raised over USD145 million in equity and USD300 million in asset-backed facilities to boost growth across the region, especially in the countries where we currently operate, Chile and Mexico. The last equity round was USD111 million, a record in Chile and one of the largest in Latin America for a FinTech.

Main responsibilities

• Review legal documentation for the daily operations of clients with whom the Company operates.
• Support our Area Heads in the management of all types of contracts and corporate documents.
• Prepare legal reports for all our clients (KYC).
• Prepare minutes and legal reports on topics relevant to internal work and the Company's interest.
• Process the Company's legal requests and requirements with governmental and private entities.
• Review all processes necessary for the fulfillment of tasks assigned to the work area and that comply with the administrative and technical stages of the legal framework.
• Participate in the implementation of the Company's compliance programs.

What do you need to shine?

• Be a lawyer
• 0-1 years of previous experience in related positions.
• Have experience working with financial companies, startups, or similar.
• Legal research and analysis skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Be proactive, execution-oriented, and continuously learning.
• Willingness to quickly take on responsibilities.
