About the role / what you will do:
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager for our mobile game who is analytical and has in-depth experience with free-to-play games. In this role, you will be responsible for our mobile game as a whole, driving the team across all disciplines to create an experience that exceeds expectations.
The game is part of a much bigger ecosystem that includes other games, mainly our cross-platform flagship title Providence. By leveraging blockchain technology, we connect these games and have meaningful interoperability between them. You will ensure that the game fits our Providence universe, in all aspects, including but not limited to, the economy, storyline, lore, and the overall look and feel.
As the Product Manager for the mobile game, you will work closely with external partners for the mobile game development, and be the go-to person between them and the in-house teams. You will work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders to build, launch, and analyze our mobile game , and perhaps other mobile products in the future.
Responsibilities:
Working collaboratively with various teams to make the best game possible.
Analyze and interpret data to provide insights to help make decisions to improve the game and its economy.
Be an intermediary between the mobile team and the flagship game team.
Assist in strategy for the game as well as marketing.
Own the product roadmap for the mobile game and develop and execute the strategic direction.
Clarify the product needs and help production in defining the objectives and the overall production plan.
Liaise with different stakeholders and teams.
Ensure the game aligns with the flagship title and the overall universe.
Requirements
Hard requirements:
Over 3 years of proven experience in mobile product management.
Proven track record with free-to-play mobile games.
Excellent analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
Fluency in English and Turkish.
Residing in Istanbul.
Soft requirements:
Thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Proactively identifying problems, and driving toward solutions.
Analyze competitors and market trends.
Ability to take accountability for achieving performance metrics.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with clear and effective articulation.
Possessing a strong work ethic and self-motivation.
Flexible and adaptable to various situations.
Nice to Have:
Experience or knowledge of web3 games or blockchain technology in general.
Background in a tech startup.
Experience working with external teams.
Gaming enthusiast.
University degree.
