Job Details

This role focuses on driving business success through the strategic growth of existing products, the planning and evaluation of new products, and the international expansion into new markets.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute growth strategies for existing products.
  • Collaborate on the planning and evaluation of new product concepts.
  • Evaluate and execute strategies for international market expansion.
  • Lead communication and negotiations with game IP partners, both existing and new.
  • Engage and support the development of organizational and talent growth strategies.
  • Work closely on various communications within the company.
  • Identify strategic opportunities and develop scalable solutions.
  • Create detailed strategic plans for product development and market penetration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members and stakeholders, including regular and reliable attendance and participation in meetings.
  • Required in-office 3 days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in strategy consulting or strategic roles within a business.
  • Advanced Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English.
  • Proven leadership in a dynamic and horizontal working environment.
  • Knowledge and passion for Japanese entertainment.
  • Strong alignment with Niantic’s vision to improve society through location-based games.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hybrid environment and handle stress appropriately and/or ability to solve practical problems and be sufficiently adaptable to handle dynamic situations with little advance notice.
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams with ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communications, including synchronous interactions with others.

The total compensation package for this position includes a new hire offer base salary range of $153,900 - $204,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Individual pay within this salary range is determined by work location and additional factors, including assessed job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
