Job Description

This role defines and monitors performance goals for production processes, aiming to improve efficiency and reduce scrap. It involves planning resources for assembly lines to meet production targets, continuously monitoring and updating production capacity, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. The supervisor will also manage direct reports, ensuring their development, and maintain compliance with ISO 45001, IATF 16949, ISO9001 (Reman), and ISO 14001 standards, while monitoring departmental performance indicators.
Must have:

  • Maintain updated documents pertinent to ISO 45001, IATF 16949, ISO9001 (Reman), and ISO 14001.
  • Monitor departmental performance indicators.

JOB PURPOSE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Main responsibilities

  • Define and monitor performance goals for production processes, seeking to improve process efficiency.
  • Act to reduce the generation of scrap and rework in assembly lines.
  • Plan and provide resources for assembly lines to achieve their production objectives.
  • Constantly monitor and update the production capacity of assembly lines, aiming for resource optimization and operational efficiency.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement in the company.
  • Plan and provide resources for continuous improvement programs, engaging all areas of the company.
  • Define, review, and monitor goals for direct reports, providing resources for their training and competence development.
  • Act as a coach for direct reports, ensuring team development.
  • Keep documents pertinent to the requirements of ISO 45001, IATF 16949, ISO9001 (Reman), and ISO 14001 standards updated.
  • Monitor performance indicators pertinent to the department.

What we are looking for

  • Engineering Degree
  • Desirable post-graduation/MBA in a related area
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with team management
  • Experience leading teams for problem-solving
  • Experience leading continuous improvement activities in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge in Manufacturing Processes: Lean Manufacturing
  • Advanced English
  • Advanced user level computer skills
