Amazon Games is currently looking for a skilled and driven Release Manager to join our New World: Aeternum team. As part of this role, you will collaborate closely with our New World: Aeternum developers, Amazon Games Operations, and other internal partners at Amazon to shepherd new builds through the release process and to our players. We are seeking someone who is talented, motivated, and ready to contribute their expertise to our organization.

Key job responsibilities
- Collaborate with Game Producers, Technology Leads and Quality Assurance leads to shepherd new releases through our release management processes and to our players.
- Collaborate with peers to continuously improve our release management processes so they are as efficient as possible and result in high quality releases with minimal emergency updates.
- Generate detailed workflow documentation that articulates how to release a new version of the game to the players. This documentation will allow other release managers, producers and testers to better understand and participate in the release management process.
- Participate in deployment and live support oncall rotation(s)

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
- 3+ years experience in a release management role on a live game.
- 3+ years experience in game development with knowledge of common source control workflows and build and deploy systems.
- Experience with Console and PC submission processes

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with a cross discipline team of artists, designers, animators and engineers.
- Experience in project management and associated tools for managing development.
- Knowledgeable of game industry trends and enjoys playing games.
- Excellent verbal and written communication

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $190,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
