Overview:
We are seeking a Project Manager to join the Research Institute. The Research Institute is a firm-wide initiative dedicated to developing cutting-edge and actionable insights for our global investors’ clients, leveraging our whole suite of proprietary data and solutions and informed by the latest ideas in the market. As a member of the Research Institute, the candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the Institute’s success by effectively coordinating all aspects of the Institute’s projects and by gathering information on these projects’ impacts.
Responsibilities:
Stakeholder coordination:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to effectively execute the Research Institute research agenda and overall strategy. This includes timely coordination with various authors across the organization and, in particular, with our colleagues in the Marketing, Communications, Branding and Compliance departments.
- Maintain schedules of Institute’s projects to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner.
- Assist in the management of the Research Podcast.
- Support relationship building with external stakeholders as needed, including with clients and prospects, academic institutions, experts, and industry leaders.
Development and tracking of Key Performance Indicators:
- Help develop a market-leading Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) program for our thought leadership efforts. This program would include both quantitative and qualitative indicators and would allow us to evaluate customer feedback and brand perception.
- Track and monitor KPIs on a regular basis. Develop and maintain a KPI dashboard to keep senior leadership informed.
Research support:
- Contribute to research projects, including primary and secondary research.
- Support data visualization efforts for our various publications and communication campaigns.
- Promote and participate in an engaging, positive, and collaborative working environment.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree in a relevant field such as business (MBA), marketing and communications.
- Advance knowledge on project management tools (i.e. Scrum, RACI).
- Knowledge of financial markets, investment management, and/or sustainable finance is preferable.
- Excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, to prioritize tasks, and to meet deadlines.
- Can-do attitude and a self-driven work ethic.
- Strong research and analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with customer-first attitude.
- Willingness to work with a highly collaborative, flexible, and innovative team across different locations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, SQL, SPSS, R Studio and JIRA are advantages.
