Job Description

As Senior Manager, Digital & Social Content for FIFA World Cup 26 Hospitality, you'll drive the organic content strategy, creating engaging content for social media, websites, and newsletters. Responsibilities include developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy, managing a content calendar across platforms, producing engaging multimedia content, collaborating with the creative team, using storytelling techniques, monitoring and engaging with followers, serving as the brand voice, collaborating with analytics to optimize strategies, and working cross-functionally with marketing and sales teams. You will also build relationships with external partners and influencers. This role requires strong writing, editing, and social media management skills, experience managing content for high-profile events, and a passion for sports.

Role Summary: As the Senior Manager, Digital & Social Content for FIFA World Cup 26 Hospitality, you’ll drive the organic content strategy, creating engaging social media, website, and newsletter content that connects with our audiences. Working cross-functionally, you’ll produce high-quality, on-brand content that maximizes reach and engagement across channels. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy for the FIFA World Cup 26 Hospitality program, aligned with business goals and brand voice. 

  • Manage an integrated content calendar across organic social media (Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) and website to ensure a consistent message across platforms. 

  • Produce engaging content for social media, blogs, landing pages, and multimedia, tailored to our target audience. 

  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop visually compelling content that embodies the excitement of the World Cup and showcases our hospitality experiences. 

  • Use storytelling techniques to deepen fan engagement and create lasting impressions. 

  • Monitor and engage with followers across social platforms, fostering a positive and enthusiastic community. 

  • Serve as the brand voice, responding to comments and messages promptly and thoughtfully. 

  • Collaborate with Analytics team to measure content performance and apply insights to optimize future content strategies. 

  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, and other teams to ensure brand consistency and cohesive content integration. 

  • Build and manage relationships with external partners and influencers to expand reach through strategic partnerships. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. 

  • Experience: 5+ years in content management, digital marketing, or social media; experience in sports, hospitality, or entertainment preferred. 

  • Skills: 

  • Strong writing and editing abilities, with a deep understanding of tone, style, and brand voice. 

  • Proven experience managing content for high-profile events or brands. 

  • Traits: 

  • Collaborative and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 

  • Passionate about sports, particularly football, with a strong understanding of FIFA World Cup events.

Hiring Range Minimum:

$90,000 annually

Hiring Range Maximum:

$120,000 annually
