Job Description

Bohemia Interactive is seeking a Senior Programmer for their DayZ team in Prague. This role involves working on critical systems like gameplay, physics, networking, and internal tools to enhance the successful open-world survival title. The programmer will iterate on both gameplay and engine code, improve workflows, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with design, deployment, and QA departments.

Good To Have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Graphic Art or a related field, or equivalent experience
Previous experience shipping and supporting a live product
Experience with console development

Must Have:

Quickly iterate on both gameplay and engine code to improve any and all aspects of DayZ
Use your senior know-how to improve DayZ’s current workflow
Mentor new and junior members of the team
Cooperate with game design, deployment and QA departments to address their needs
Minimum 5 years' of programming experience
Proficiency in C/C++
Ability to independently make decisions
Professional experience designing and implementing complex software systems
Good spoken and written English
