The role involves analyzing gameplay cycles and meta-mechanics, identifying growth points, creating progression systems, writing documentation, owning feature creation from concept to implementation, analyzing project metrics, and contributing to future development plans. This position is ideal for senior specialists transitioning to a leadership role or accomplished team leads.
Good To Have:
  • Familiarity with UGC market (Roblox, Fortnite, Minecraft, etc.).
Must Have:
  • Experience working as a meta game designer on at least two released titles.
  • Ability to express thoughts clearly and concisely. Both in writing and verbally.
  • Love for mobile games and a habit of keeping your reference base up to date.
  • Experience playing PvP games or games with prevalent social mechanics.

Ninja Party is our brand new PvP action game, where players compete with each other by using parkour, fighting and physics. In the future players will receive an opportunity to create their own levels, rules and even mini-games by using the built-in editor. The game is cross-platform – for mobile devices, PC, and consoles.

We are looking for a skilled Meta Game Designer to join our team. This position would be perfect for senior level specialists who would like to transition to a leading role and are interested in management-related tasks, while preserving your feature-ownership skills. Accomplished team leads are also more than welcome.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the main gameplay cycle and meta-mechanics of a recently released game.
  • Look for points of growth within existing meta game design and suggest ways to realize them.
  • Create interesting and captivating progression systems and goals.
  • Write documentation and conduct reviews of other team members.
  • Own the process of feature creation from concept to implementation while collaborating with programmers and other departments.
  • Analyze project's metrics.
  • Participate in creation of plans for the game's future development.
