Job Description
As a Working Student Community Moderator, you will review reader comments on welt.de based on usage rules and current societal developments, deciding which content is published in the community. You will actively contribute to fostering a positive discussion culture and support users with questions in close coordination with the editorial team. You will also be responsible for the "Welt Community Editorial Team" project. This role requires a strong understanding of discussion culture, respect, and diversity, particularly in the digital space. An interest in current news and a motivation to actively follow societal debates are essential. Previous practical experience in community management or customer service, ideally in an editorial or digital environment, is beneficial. The role requires availability to work primarily on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

- du prüfst Leserkommentare auf welt.de auf Grundlage der Nutzungsregeln und aktueller gesellschaftlicher Entwicklungen und entscheidest, welche Inhalte in der Community veröffentlicht werden
- du trägst aktiv zur Förderung einer positiven Diskussionskultur bei und unterstützt Nutzer bei Fragen in enger Abstimmung mit der Redaktion
- du betreust das Projekt "Welt Community Redaktion"
Was du mitbringst:
- ein ausgeprägtes Verständnis für Diskussionskultur, Respekt und Vielfalt – besonders im digitalen Raum
- Interesse am aktuellen Nachrichtengeschehen und die Motivation, gesellschaftliche Debatten aktiv zu begleiten
- erste praktische Erfahrungen im Community Management oder Kundenservice – idealerweise im redaktionellen oder digitalen Umfeld
- die Bereitschaft, hauptsächlich an Wochenenden (Samstag und Sonntag) zu arbeiten
