Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of relevant work experience in accounts payable processes and a strong understanding of financial principles. Responsibilities: * Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in a timely and accurate manner. * Review purchase orders, contracts, and agreements to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. * Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly. * Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to address payment inquiries and resolve payment-related issues. * Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and update accounting databases and systems as needed. * Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing accruals and reconciliations. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement and finance, to streamline accounts payable processes and improve efficiency. * Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and changes in accounting regulations related to accounts payable. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role, preferably in a SaaS or technology company. * Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. * Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
