Job Description

As an AI Sales Specialist at Google Cloud, you'll be responsible for growing the AI business by building and expanding relationships with new and existing customers. You'll need strong selling skills to connect with Cloud Field Sales Representatives (FSRs), Customer Engineers (CEs), and clients. Responsibilities include developing executive relationships, identifying AI use cases for Google Cloud AI products, creating and executing account plans, collaborating with Google Account and technical teams, and executing Go-to-Market strategies with Cloud Teams and GCP Partners. The role involves working on both productivity use cases and collaborating with product teams to help customers build new products using Google's AI. You will own your sales numbers, forecast accurately, and report on business progress. This position requires a deep understanding of the AI technology stack and the ability to connect AI/ML with business value.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience selling IT business solutions and executing a territory sales strategy.
  • Experience in identifying and driving use cases to solve customer challenges.
  • Experience partnering with technical staff to build business cases and implementation plans.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Cloud and Google Cloud AI offerings.
  • Experience working with product teams and an understanding of how to embed our technology into their product set.
  • Experience working with and managing partners in implementation projects including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.
  • Experience and understanding selling the AI technology stack.
  • Ability to drive business growth across a broad set of industry-specific AI/ML use cases.
  • Ability to connect AI/ML with business value and engage executive stakeholders as an advisor and thought leader.

As an AI Sales Specialist Specialist, you will be responsible for growing our AI business by building and expanding relationships with new and existing customers. You will possess the necessary selling skills to build relationships with both Cloud Field Sales Representatives (FSRs), Customer Engineers (CEs) as well as new and existing customers. You will develop relationships with external customer stakeholders, identifying innovative ways to multiply your impact and the impact of the team as a whole. You will partner with internal GCP sales teams to grow their AI businesses and drive overall value for GCP. Business cycles will include a combination of productivity use cases, as well as working with product teams to help our customers build new products leveraging our AI.

Responsibilities

  • Own your number, calibrate the business against the objectives and results. Accurately forecast and report the state of the business for your territory.
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with customers as the AI Subject Matter Expert, influence direction for your new and existing customers as well as the Google Cloud Field Sales Representatives (FSRs) and Customer Engineers (CEs).
  • Assist customers in identifying AI use cases suitable for Google Cloud AI products and solutions. Articulate solution differentiators and the business impact.
  • Develop and execute account plans, including a broader enterprise plan across verticals.
  • Work with Google Account and technical teams to develop and drive pipelines, and provide expertise. Execute Go-To-Market business plays and related efforts with the Cloud Teams and GCP Partners.
