As a Team Lead, you will focus on leading a team of Annotation Analysts. You will be responsible for the team’s operational success, mentoring their career growth, and collaborating cross-functionally with other internal teams. The role is an office based position. Additionally, some specific supervisor shifts require certain hours to be present on campus, and can span any hours of operations.

In the role of Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing daily leadership, coaching, and development of a team of Annotation Analyst team members. You possess self-motivation, a friendly demeanor, and a strong passion for supporting your team’s development and performance. You will identify, promote, and implement innovative ideas to meet and exceed the performance and quality goals set by leadership. You will support employees’ success by establishing relationships and seeking to understand their motivations. You will oversee performance management; ensuring that daily, monthly, and quarterly metrics are met. You will effectively execute on management and administrative tasks, such as leading team meetings, conducting regular one-on-one meetings, hiring, training, and developing employee performance. You will drive operational improvements, foster team collaboration, and recommend innovative solutions to business challenges. You will establish clear and effective working relationships and communication channels with internal partners.

  • You have a minimum of 2 years experience leading teams in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience leading in a professional environment alongside other teams.
  • Excellent influencing skills and ability to work with key business partners
  • Prioritizes coaching and development for your team and are experienced in developing employees skills to support delivering strong performance.
  • Able to craft and deliver individual employee development plans that incorporate observations and key performance trends.
  • Sets a standard for high-quality work by consistently meeting and exceeding performance goals.
  • Strong and effective written and verbal interpersonal skills with the ability to tailor your message to your audience.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.

  • Experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and/or Data Annotation preferred.
